Relief for the majority of Ávila’s municipalities
The call, signed in Ávila on August 19, 2026, by the president, Carlos García González, is addressed to virtually all municipalities in the province, given that the vast majority of its towns do not reach 10,000 inhabitants. The measure seeks to provide an agile response to water scarcity or quality problems affecting numerous rural centers, allowing town halls to undertake improvement works with provincial funding.
