La Diputación de Toledo subvenciona a 116 asociaciones de mujeres

The Provincial Council of Toledo has made public the provisional resolution of the grants for activities of women’s associations in the province for 2026, with 116 entities admitted and a total of 69,980 euros distributed. The announcement appears in the Official Gazette of the Province of Toledo number 190, dated October 5, 2026, with the verification code 2026.00004535. Associations have 10 business days from the day following publication to submit appeals.

The grants are governed by the regulatory bases and the call for applications approved by the Governing Board of the Council of Toledo on May 8, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Toledo number 88, dated May 13, 2026. The proposal is based on the report from the Evaluation Commission, which met on September 9, 2026, once the application and deficiency correction deadlines had closed, and falls under the responsibility of the Vice President and Delegated Councilor for Equality.

The document, identified as No. I.-4535, is dated Toledo, September 30, 2026, and signed by the president María Concepción Cedillo Tardío and the acting secretary general, Jesús Prieto Sabugo. It is divided into two sections: the admission of applications with their respective grants and the inadmission of those submitted after the deadline or without meeting the requirements of the bases.

116 associations admitted and 69,980 euros

The first section admits applications submitted in a timely and proper manner, detailing the locality, entity, CIF (Tax ID), score obtained, and amount assigned. Scores range between 12 and 25 points, and individual amounts range from 178 to 890 euros.

Workshops, trips, and prevention of gender-based violence

The subsidized projects combine training, leisure, and awareness. Activities include workshops on self-care, laughter therapy, crafts, bobbin lace, self-defense, memory, emotional health, and digital skills, along with cultural trips to Madrid, Toledo, Almagro, Granada, Segovia, and the Puy du Fou park, as well as tickets for theater, museums, and shows.

Funding is also provided for meetings between associations, Rural Women’s Day events, activities for November 25th and March 8th, and talks and workshops on the prevention of gender-based violence and the promotion of equality. Several entities include guided tours with a gender perspective and routes linked to the VII Centenary of the Toledo Cathedral.

The second section declares ten applications inadmissible for processing:

  • Asociación de Mujeres La Inmaculada (Cabezamesada): non-compliance with Base V.

Period for appeals

Interested entities have 10 business days, counting from the day following the publication in the bulletin, to present any appeals they deem appropriate against the provisional proposal. The final resolution will be adopted once those appeals have been examined, in accordance with the procedure established in the call guidelines.

The resolution affects around a hundred groups from across the province, from small municipalities such as Buenasbodas or Torrecilla de la Jara to Talavera de la Reina, and determines which activities for revitalization, training, and awareness of equality will be funded this year. The appeals period is the final opportunity to correct amounts or scores before the final resolution.
