The Provincial Council of Teruel distributes 29,200 euros among four agricultural associations

The Provincial Council of Teruel has granted 29,200 euros in subsidies to four livestock and agricultural associations in the province, as part of the 2026 Support Program for the Agricultural-Livestock Sector. The decision is formalized in the Presidency Decree 2026-3233, dated September 16, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Teruel number 179, dated September 18, 2026, with reference 2026-2691. The resolution bears the signature of the institution’s president, Joaquín Pascual Juste Sanz, and is dated in Teruel on September 17, 2026.

The call for these grants was approved by Presidency Decree 2026-2326, dated June 17, 2026, published in BOPTE number 117, dated June 23, 2026, and was registered in the National Subsidy Database (BDNS) under number 913968. The regulatory framework is the General Ordinance approving the Regulatory Bases for the granting of subsidies by the Council, approved by the Provincial Plenary on March 27, 2024, and published in BOP number 102, dated May 29, 2024, together with the 2024-2027 Strategic Subsidy Plan, approved on January 31, 2024, and published in BOP number 25, dated February 5.

The file includes a favorable proposal report from the Managing Service and the Technical Valuation Commission, both dated September 2, 2026, and the compliance report from the General Comptroller number 2026-1073, dated September 15, 2026. The call set the subsidy amount at 30,200 euros, funded by budget application 2026/4120/48000, while the resolution finally grants 29,200 euros charged to application 1522 76200, in accordance with the percentages, limits, and conditions established in the call.

Distribution among four entities

The beneficiary entities and the assigned amounts are as follows:

• ASERNA (Asociación Serrana Negra de Teruel), CIF G-44183143, based in Mosqueruela: 5,000 euros.
• AVIGASTER (Asociación Criadores Gallina Serrana de Teruel), CIF G-44214716, based in Cedrillas: 5,000 euros.
• AZAJI (Asociación Productores de Azafrán del Campo Jiloca), CIF G-44205417, based in Monreal del Campo: 5,000 euros.
• ACRIPORTE (Asociación Criadores de Ganado Porcino de Teruel), CIF G-44026557, based in La Codoñera: 14,200 euros.

The largest amount corresponds to the pig breeders, who concentrate nearly half of the total granted, while the three remaining associations receive 5,000 euros each. The global amount of the grants totals 29,200 euros.

Obligations and publicity of the grant

The granting and justification of subsidies are subject to the remaining obligations, deadlines, and conditions established in the call for applications and in the General Subsidy Ordinance. The resolution shall be notified to the interested city councils and communicated to the General Comptroller’s Office and the managing Service, in addition to being published and communicated to the National Subsidy Database in the legally appropriate terms.

Deadlines for appeal

Against the resolution, which exhausts administrative remedies, an optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the President of the Provincial Council of Teruel within one month, computed from the day following its notification, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015. It is also possible to directly file a contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Section of the Court of First Instance of Teruel within two months, according to article 46 of Law 29/1998.

These grants support the activity of entities working for the conservation of indigenous breeds such as the serrana negra and the gallina serrana, for unique crops such as the saffron of Jiloca, and for the provincial pig livestock, therefore their granting directly impacts the viability of the primary sector in Teruel and the maintenance of activity in the rural environment.
