Por FactBox Admin

The Provincial Council of Seville has appointed Alejandra Durán Parra as advisor to the Con Andalucía Group, a non-permanent staff position of the corporation on a full-time basis. This is stated in a notice published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Seville (BOP), issue number 157, of Friday, 14 August 2026, page 37, with official reference BOP-SE-2026-157003.
The appointment is made by Presidency Resolution No. 5387, of 31 July 2026, and its effectiveness is subject to the interested party taking office. The notice, processed by the Public Employee Area, is made public “for general information” in accordance with the usual procedure for disseminating this type of agreement.
A position of trust with a public salary
The position of political group advisor is a non-permanent staff post, a figure provided for in local government legislation to carry out duties of trust or special advice, without a permanent nature or reserved post in the staff establishment. In this case, Alejandra Durán Parra will hold the position on a full-time basis, which implies exclusive dedication to the duties of the post.
- Person appointed: Ms. Alejandra Durán Parra
- Position: advisor to the Con Andalucía Group
- Regime: full-time, non-permanent staff of the corporation
- Effective date: from taking office
- Annual remuneration: €50,991.78
The assigned remuneration corresponds to that set for the advisor position and will be paid from the Provincial Council’s budgets, as it is a public salary financed by the provincial treasury.
The signature and delegation of the Presidency
The notice appears signed by María García de Pesquera Tassara, deputy general secretary acting as general secretary, acting by delegation from the president. That delegation arises from Presidency Resolution No. 7907/2024, of 25 November, which authorises the deputy secretary’s office to formalise this type of publication.
The document was electronically signed on 11 August 2026 and is accompanied by a secure verification code on the Provincial Council’s portal, which guarantees its authenticity and integrity as an electronic copy of administrative value.
Transparency in the appointment
The publication in the official gazette responds to the principle of publicity of local corporation agreements, which requires the appointment of non-permanent staff to be made known in order to allow public awareness and control. The text details both the dedication regime and the remuneration amount, so that any interested party can know the public cost of the post.
With this agreement, the Con Andalucía Group of the Provincial Council of Seville completes the reinforcement of its team of advisors, in a context in which the political groups with representation in the corporation have trusted personnel financed with public funds to support their institutional work.
The dissemination of these data in the BOP allows the residents of the province to know who occupies each position of trust in the institution and how much they receive, an exercise in transparency that directly affects the management of the public resources of the Provincial Council.
