The Provincial Council of Huesca grants 27,300 euros to four rural businesses

Por FactBox Admin

The Provincial Council of Huesca has resolved the first procedure of the call for grants for the generational renewal of economic activities in rural areas for the year 2026, granting a total of 27,300.42 euros to four businesses. The decision, adopted by the Presidency of the Corporation through Decree No. 2798, of August 17, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Huesca number 158, of August 20, 2026 (official reference BOPH-2026-158001).

The call, whose summary was published in the BOP of Huesca No. 31, of February 17, 2026, and appears in the National Grants Database with the identifier 887468, is processed under file No. 1735335N of the section of Development, Territorial Initiatives, and European Programs (DITPE). The grants are awarded under Regulation (EU) 2023/2831 on de minimis aid, and are therefore exempt from prior notification to the European Union.

Beneficiaries and amounts

Six applications were submitted in the first procedure, up until June 30, 2026, and four were successful. The maximum amount per beneficiary is 7,000 euros for investment expenses and 3,000 euros for current expenses, at 80% of the eligible expenditure:

  • Tirolina Valle de Broto Ordesa S.L. (B22416341): 10,000.00 € (7,000 € investment and 3,000 € current).
  • MV Equitación S.L. (B88808316): 9,909.09 € (7,000 € and 2,909.09 €).
  • Carramolino Mallenco María (*0726): 5,840.00 € (5,200 € and 640 €).
  • Martí Martínez Javier (*1162): 1,551.33 € (1,387.36 € and 163.97 €).

Inadmissible applications

Two applications were ruled inadmissible for failing to meet the requirements of the third basis of the call:

  • Bescós Barros María Cruz (*9630): the transfer was not carried out within the period between 1/1/2026 and 9/30/2026.
  • Modas Leyse S.L. (B27549963): the transferred business had not started its activity before January 1, 2021.

Credit and second procedure

The expenditure is charged to budget applications 2026.51.4331.479000 (current expenditure, 6,713.06 €) and 2026.51.4331.779000 (capital, 20,587.36 €). As the maximum amount was not exhausted, the remaining credit of 39,699.58 € is transferred to the second selection procedure, which will have a total of 72,699.58 € (49,412.64 € for investment and 23,286.94 € for current). The deadline for the justification of the grants ends on September 30, 2026, with no possibility of extension.

The resolution, which exhausts administrative remedies, may be appealed for reconsideration within one month or before the contentious-administrative jurisdiction within two months. With these grants, the Provincial Council seeks to sustain the business fabric and encourage the repopulation of the province’s rural areas, guaranteeing the continuity of businesses that might otherwise disappear due to a lack of generational renewal.
