The Provincial Council of Guadalajara reopens the application period for aid to outstanding athletes.
Por FactBox Admin

The Provincial Council of Guadalajara has published in the Official Gazette of the Province number 153, of Wednesday, 12 August 2026, the correction of material errors in the call for subsidies for outstanding athletes of the province for the year 2026, registered in the National Subsidies Database with identifier BDNS 920308. The correction, formalised by resolution of the Presidency 2026-8760 of 6 August, restarts the deadline for submitting applications: 15 working days counted from the day following the publication of the notice. Any athlete in the province interested in the aid will therefore have a new opportunity to apply for it.
The call was approved by the Governing Board of the Provincial Council at its ordinary meeting of 14 July 2026, under item 15 of the agenda, and its extract was published in the provincial gazette on 24 July. Subsequently, three material transcription errors were noticed in the text included in the proposed agreement, relating to Rules Nine, Five and Sixteen. The President of the Provincial Council, José Luis Vega Pérez, signed on 6 August Resolution 2026-8760, entered in the Book of Decrees and Resolutions of the Presidency, which agrees to rectify the defects and publish the corrected call.
What errors are corrected
The three defects detected affect the same number of provisions of the call:
- Rule Nine (Application and documentation): the certificate from the corresponding CLM Federation or Spanish Federation must accredit the best sporting results obtained between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026, and not up to 1 June 2026 as it erroneously stated.
- Rule Five (Eligible expenses): only the expenses expressly included in the detailed list in point 2, rather than point 1 as cited, shall be considered eligible expenses.
- Rule Sixteen (Justification of the subsidy: deadline and procedure): the justification of the institutional publicity requirement by means of a photograph is referred to Rule Fourteen, and not to Rule Thirteen.
Restarted 15-working-day deadline
The agreement provides for the publication of the corrections and orders that the deadline for submitting applications, of 15 working days, begin to run from the day following publication of the correction notice in the Official Gazette of the Province, that is, from 13 August 2026. The resolution itself specifies that the corrections do not affect any other provision of the call and that the remaining administrative actions and documents of the file are preserved.
Who it is addressed to
- Outstanding athletes from the province of Guadalajara who wish to apply for the 2026 financial year subsidies.
- Applicants who must certify their sporting results between 1 July 2025 and 30 June 2026 by means of a federation certificate.
- The announcement is processed through the Sports Service of the Provincial Council, the body that signs the publication.
The correction has an immediate practical effect for athletes in the province: those who submitted their application with the erroneous texts or those who discarded it under an incorrect reading of the terms will have a full period of 15 business days to apply under equal conditions. With the publication of the correction, the call for applications BDNS 920308 remains in force in its remaining terms, which reinforces the legal certainty of the procedure and the distribution of aid among the outstanding athletes of Guadalajara.
