The Provincial Council of Guadalajara awards fourteen section head positions via competitive examination

The Provincial Council of Guadalajara has made public the resolution of the general competition for the provision of job positions, which awards 14 destinations to officials of the Corporation and declares three others vacant. The agreement, adopted through Resolution No. 2026-8839 of August 12, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara, No. 165, of August 28, 2026, and is signed by the president, José Luis Vega Pérez.

The call originates from the agreement of the Corporation’s Governing Board, adopted in the session of August 6, 2024, published in BOP No. 185, of September 27, 2024, and in extract in BOE No. 21, of January 23, 2026. The resolution is issued in accordance with the regulatory bases of the competition and the proposals of the Evaluation Commission, once the required formalities have been met.

Awarded Section Headships

Among the awarded destinations are several section headships and positions of responsibility in the central services of the Council:

  • Position 1082 – Head of Section for Works and Contract Execution (Architecture and Urbanism Service, Guadalajara), to Pablo García Bueno.
  • Position 302 – Administrative Head of Section for Social Welfare and Employment (Welfare and Employment Service), to María Teresa Domenech Martín.
  • Position 204 – Administrative Head of Section for Auditing, to Margarita Calleja Sanz.
  • Position 157 – Head of Section for the General Secretariat Administrative Office, to Luis Miguel Bermejo Asenjo.
  • Position 216 – Administrative Assistant for Treasury, to María Concepción Domingo López.

Provincial Service and Complex Positions

The competition also resolves the provision of positions in provincial services and complexes, with transfers between localities:

  • Position 515 – Laundry Services Assistant (Príncipe Felipe Complex), to María del Carmen Asenjo Puente.
  • Position 1033 – Multiple Services Assistant (Príncipe Felipe Complex), to Helena Navas Sánchez.
  • Position 5180 – Concierge/Porter Services Assistant (Príncipe Felipe Complex), to María Felisa Sánchez García and María del Mar Gutiérrez Lozano.
  • Position 2481 – Craft Coordinator/Monitor (Folklore School), to María Jesús Sánchez Benito.
  • Position 186 – Deputy Head of Messengers (Office of the Presidency and Vice Presidencies), to Pedro Pablo López Sopeña.

Infrastructure Group Headships

In the area of Provincial Infrastructure, three positions of Group Head Official are awarded, with destinations in different localities:

  • Guadalajara, to Nicolás Blanco Gutiérrez.
  • Sigüenza, to Ángel Ignacio Flores Ortega.
  • Cogolludo (pending), to Alfredo Fraguas García.

Vacant Positions and Conditions

The resolution declares three positions vacant: no. 110 “Administrative Assistant Complex and Residence”, as the applicant obtained another requested position in a previous location; and no. 3 “Administrative Rural Development, Environment, Economic Promotion and European Projects and Tourism Promotion” and no. 66 “Chief Officer Provincial Infrastructure Group (Molina de Aragón)”, as no valid applications were received.

The assigned destination is voluntary and does not generate a right to compensation, and it is non-renounceable unless the interested party obtains another destination through a public call before the deadline for taking office expires. Assigned personnel may not participate in transfer competitions for two years from the date of taking office, except for the cases set forth in art. 20.1 f) of Law 30/1984. The period for taking office shall be three business days if it does not involve a change of residence, or one month if it does, counted from the date of cessation, which must take place within three business days following the publication in the bulletin.

The resolution consolidates the mobility and professional career of provincial officials, organizing the occupation of key positions in services such as Public Works, Social Welfare, Audit, and the General Secretariat, and leaves open the future filling of the three vacant positions.
