La Diputación de Granada reparte 540.000 euros entre 108 municipios para suministros

The Provincial Council of Granada has granted 540,000 euros in financial assistance from Program 1102, Supplies and Repair of Breakdowns, 2026 fiscal year, distributed at a rate of 5,000 euros among a total of 108 local entities in the province. The grant is approved by resolution no. 6543/2026, issued on October 18, 2026, and signed in Granada on October 21 by the delegated deputy for Contracting, Water, Agrarian Promotion, and Environment, Antonio Mancilla Mancilla. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada no. 211, dated Friday, October 30, 2026, with the official reference BOP-GRA-2026-211001.

The aid is framed within the Regulatory Ordinance of Local Concertation of the Provincial Council of Granada, approved by the Plenary on May 29, 2025, and published in BOP no. 108 on June 10, 2025, which assigns the Presidency, with the assistance of the Governing Board, the regulatory resolution of the concertation process. The call stems from Presidency Resolution no. 124, dated June 18, 2025, which approved the regulation of the 2026-2027 concertation process and the financial assistance programs with fund transfers, including Program 1102. The call was registered in the National Grants Database under code 840976, and the concertation agreements were signed by the local entities in December 2025.

The program is managed by the management center Urban Water Cycle Service, attached to the Delegation of Contracting, Water, Agrarian Promotion, and Environment, and the expenditure is charged to budget application 127 16111 76200. The file includes a proposal report from the technician responsible for the program, a legal report from the head of the Economic and Administrative Management Section, accreditation of adequate and sufficient credit, and favorable prior auditing. Furthermore, it is certified that none of the proposed entities appear as debtors for the reimbursement of grants to the Provincial Council, as there are no recognized rights pending collection in applications 38900 and 68000.

One hundred and eight entities, five thousand euros each

The distribution is linear: each beneficiary entity receives exactly 5,000.00 euros in contributions from the Provincial Council and none provide their own funds, so the total of 540,000.00 euros matches the 108 entities listed in the annex of the resolution. Of these, 106 are city councils and two are water supply associations:

  • Mancomunidad de Abastecimiento de Aguas Potables del Temple.
  • Mancomunidad de Abastecimiento de Agua Potable Río Dílar.

The list includes municipalities from all regions, from the Alpujarra and the Lecrín Valley to Guadix, Baza, Huéscar, the Poniente, and the Vega. Among the beneficiaries are, for example:

  • In the Alpujarra and the coast: Órgiva, Pampaneira, Capileira, Bubión, Pórtugos, Busquístar, Trevélez, Juviles, Válor, Murtas, Turón, Alpujarra de la Sierra, Lobras, Cáñar, Nigüelas, Dúrcal, Lanjaron, Villamena and El Valle.

Execution in 2026 and justification until March 2027

The execution period of the program spans from January 1 to December 31, 2026. Beneficiary entities must publicize the public nature of the funding and justify the fulfillment of the purpose, the correct application of funds, and the program objectives through the Electronic Office of the Diputación de Granada, before the Delegation of Contracting, Water, Agricultural Promotion and Environment, by March 31, 2027.

The required documentation is as follows:

  • Justifying activity report, indicating the activities carried out and the results obtained.
  • Justifying account of expenses and income according to the model in Annex IV of the Budget Execution Bases.
  • Proof of voluntary payment of the unapplied portion, if applicable, into account ES20 3023 0180 5251 0940 1108, to avoid the initiation of a reimbursement proceeding.
  • Responsible declaration of compliance with publicity requirements.

The resolution also allows for requests to modify the grant before the activity period concludes, provided that the object or destination of the aid is not altered, and provides for ex officio modification following a hearing with the interested entity, in accordance with Article 32 of Law 39/2015 and Article 70 of Royal Decree 887/2006.

No administrative appeal and two months to go to court

This resolution exhausts all administrative remedies; therefore, no administrative appeal is applicable. Entities may optionally file a request for annulment or revocation before the same body that issued it within two months from the day following its notification, or directly file a contentious-administrative appeal within the same period before the Court of First Instance, contentious-administrative area of Granada. The powers of the delegated deputy derive from Presidency Resolution no. 7296, dated November 27, 2025.

Impact for small municipalities

For the smaller town councils of the province, this distribution is one of the few stable sources of funding to purchase materials, fuel, tools, and spare parts, and to address urgent repairs of breakdowns in municipal services. The aid arrives with the year practically closed, without municipal contribution and with justification deferred to March 2027, which provides leeway for councils with fewer administrative staff to organize the documentation of current expenditure that, in many cases, is difficult to cover with ordinary budgets.
