Por FactBox Admin

The Provincial Council of Granada has approved the “Granada Compite” call for grants, on a competitive basis, aimed at athletes from the province competing individually or in pairs, and sports entities competing in teams. The maximum allocation is 100,000 euros, and the application period is limited to ten business days. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada number 181, corresponding to Friday, September 18, 2026, with the official reference BOP-GRA-2026-181006.
The call was approved by the Governing Board of the provincial institution in its session on September 9, 2026, under the regulatory bases for the execution of the Granada Provincial Council budget for 2026 (BEP 2026). The administrative file is MOAD 2026/PES_01/013358, and the summary is disseminated in accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies. The resolution is signed by the president of the Provincial Council of Granada dated September 10, 2026.
Who the aid is aimed at
- Athletes from the province of Granada who have competed individually or in pairs from July 1, 2025, until the date of publication of the call.
- Sports entities from the province of Granada that have competed from July 1, 2025, until the date of publication of the call.
The declared objective is to establish and regulate the granting of these competitive subsidies, both for individual athletes or pairs and for clubs and entities competing in teams. The call falls within the area of Sports and Sports Facilities of the Provincial Council of Granada.
Amount and deadline
- Maximum available budget: 100,000 euros (ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS).
- Budgetary application: 161.34115.48004, named “Granada Compite”, from the current General Budget of the Provincial Council of Granada for the 2026 fiscal year.
- Application deadline: ten business days starting from the day following the date of publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada.
Where to consult the bases
The full text of the call can be consulted in the National Grants Database, with the identifier 929976, accessible via the address https://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatoria/929976. The summary published in the provincial gazette is limited to the sections on beneficiaries, objective, regulatory bases, amount, and deadline, referring to that state database for the rest of the articles.
The call for applications arrives with an especially tight schedule: ten business days from the day following publication leave very little margin to gather the supporting documentation for the competitive activity carried out since July 2025. For federated sports and the network of clubs in the province, the 100,000 euros from Granada Compite represent the main line of direct support from the Diputación de Granada for the 2026 fiscal year.
