La Diputación de Córdoba convoca los Premios Juventud 2026 con 8.000 euros

The Provincial Council of Córdoba has announced the 2026 Córdoba Provincial Council Youth Awards, with a total purse of 8,000 euros divided into eight categories of 1,000 euros each, plus an honorary award without financial remuneration. The president of the corporation, Salvador Fuentes Lopera, approved the rules via Decree on September 10, 2026, published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 190, dated October 1, 2026, with reference BOP-A-2026-3201.

Framework of the call

The awards distinguish young people, collectives, entities, or institutions from the province of Córdoba who, through their sensitivity and work for youth rights, have developed initiatives in the fields of associationism, social commitment and volunteering, youth entrepreneurship, culture, science and technology, sports, inclusion, equality, and diverse abilities.

The call is promoted by the Delegation for Technological Development, Digital Transformation, and Youth, through the Social Welfare Administration Service, and is framed within the 2030 Agenda, focusing on the goals of Quality Education, Gender Equality, Decent Work and Economic Growth, and Reduced Inequalities.

The expenditure is charged to budget application 275.3371.48101 of the Corporation’s 2026 budget.

Nine categories, eight with financial endowment

  • Social commitment, volunteering, and associationism.
  • Equality, sexual and gender diversity.
  • Inclusion of people with different abilities.
  • Best academic record PAU (University Entrance Exam).
  • Culture.
  • Entrepreneurship.
  • Science and technology.
  • Youth sports.
  • Honorary award for youth programs, without financial endowment.

Each category with a cash prize includes 1,000 euros, from which the corresponding tax withholdings will be deducted, and a commemorative token —statuette, plaque, or figure—. The honorary award recognizes initiatives, projects, or programs that have stood out for their contribution to youth policies, but lacks financial remuneration.

Candidacies, deadlines, and jury

Young people between 14 and 35 years old born or registered in the province of Córdoba, as well as collectives, entities, or institutions (both public and private), may apply. No one may nominate themselves: candidacies must be submitted by third parties, accompanied by a justified report of merits or a curriculum vitae.

The submission period is 10 business days starting from the day following the publication of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province. Collectives and entities must process the application through the Electronic Registry of the Provincial Council of Córdoba; natural persons without a signature certificate may submit it at the General Registry (Plaza Colón, 15) or through the channels established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015.

Persons, companies, and entities awarded in the last edition, as well as public or private institutions in whose statutes the Provincial Council of Córdoba appears as a full member, are excluded.

The jury is presided over by the president of the Provincial Council or their delegate, along with three experts of recognized prestige in youth matters, two technicians from the Department of Youth and Sport, the head of that department, and a senior qualified secretary from the Social Welfare Administration Service. The decision is final and will be published, along with the nominal composition of the jury, on the electronic headquarters notice board.

Verdict and Awarding

The awards will be made public in the last quarter of 2026 via a resolution from the delegated deputy for Technological Development, Digital Transformation, and Youth, and may be shared or declared void if the candidacies do not present sufficient merit. The award ceremony will be held in a public event organized by the Youth Information Center (CIJ), the date, time, and place of which will be communicated to the winners. The Delegation maintains an information and advisory service at the telephone number 957211427 and the email juventud@dipucordoba.es.

For youth associations, social entities, and Córdoba entrepreneurs, the call opens a path for institutional recognition and visibility with a very tight application window of barely two business weeks, which requires the immediate preparation of documentation.
