The Provincial Council of Cáceres auctions 22 head of cattle from Haza de la Concepción
Por FactBox Admin

The Provincial Council of Cáceres has opened the disposal procedure for 22 head of bovine cattle from the “Haza de la Concepción” estate, located in the municipality of Malpartida de Plasencia. The initiation agreement, signed by the delegated councilwoman María Angélica García Gómez, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres number 0187, dated September 30, 2026, with official reference BOP-2026-4524. Interested livestock farmers and fatteners have until 9:00 AM on October 6, 2026, to submit their offers.
The file is processed as AG/010-2026/PATRIMONIAL and is supported by Article 58 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, as well as Article 118 of Royal Decree 1372/1986, of June 13, which approves the Regulations on Assets of Local Entities. The authority of the delegated councilwoman derives from the delegation conferred by the Resolution of the Presidency of the Provincial Council of Cáceres of July 5, 2023, modified by the resolutions of June 5, 2024 (BOP no. 118, of 06/21/24), June 2, 2025 (BOP no. 114, of 06/18), and August 14, 2025 (BOP no. 156, of 08/18/2025).
The sale is justified because, once the prior selection for replacement has been carried out, it is necessary to dispose of the surplus livestock from an estate owned by the provincial institution. The necessity and technical valuation report, signed by agricultural technicians Olga Javato Bello and Óscar Gómez Román, establishes the mandatory destination as a non-qualified fattening facility, as the animals come from a farm with positivity.
Two lots and 22 animals for sale
The livestock is divided into two closed lots, with individual identification via ear tag:
- Lot 1 (fattening males): 11 males, 9 of the Avileña breed and 2 of Blanca Cacereña, aged 5 to 9 months and an average live weight of 245.00 kg after a 3% deduction.
- Lot 2 (fattening females): 11 females, 9 of the Avileña breed, 1 Charolais and 1 Crossbreed, aged 5 to 9 months and an average live weight of 207 kg after a 3% deduction.
In both cases, the fattening price is applied: 200 kg per animal are computed, and kilograms exceeding that threshold are paid at half price.
Reference prices and bidding conditions
The bidding prices are calculated based on the September 25, 2026 session of the Bovine Board of the Agricultural Market of Extremadura, with the correction factors for meat yield for each breed and sex:
- Lot 1: €2.50/kg live weight for 222.5 kg, which amounts to €556.25 per animal; total of €6,118.75 excluding VAT and €6,730.63 including 10% VAT.
- Lot 2: €2.00/kg live weight for 203.5 kg, i.e., €407 per animal; total of €4,477 excluding VAT and €4,924.70 including VAT.
- Total disposal: €10,595.75 excluding VAT and €11,655.33 VAT included.
The specifications allow for a fluctuation of up to 10% more or less relative to the market price, depending on supply, demand, and the context of falling prices, excess supply, and congestion in fattening centers. The successful bidder is obliged to remove the animals in closed lots, cannot postpone payment, and assumes the transport costs of the livestock from the farm to its destination. If several bids coincide for one or more lots, the award will go to the most advantageous global bid; if all are for the same amount, the lots will be distributed proportionally among the participants.
