The Provincial Council of Cáceres publishes the admitted candidates for industrial engineer

The Provincial Council of Cáceres has published the provisional list of persons admitted and excluded from the selection process to fill one position for Industrial Engineer via open competition. The announcement appears in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres number 0205, dated Monday, October 26, 2026, within Section I (Local Administration), with the official reference BOP-2026-5004. The resolution was signed in Cáceres on October 21, 2026, by José Álvaro Casas Avilés, Chief Clerk of the provincial institution.

Seventeen admitted and eight excluded

Annex I of the announcement lists a total of 17 admitted applicants and 8 excluded in the open competition. The convened position belongs to the Special Administration Scale, Technical Subscale, Senior Technician Class, Group A, Subgroup A1, of the civil servant staff of the Provincial Council of Cáceres, and is filled through a competitive examination and merit process.

In the excluded section, eight names appear—Fernando Barrena Barrero, Thaimy Eduvigis Brito Molina, Francisco del Amo Pino, Manuel González Hernández, Rafael Luis Herrera Iglesias, Ainhoa Larramendi Galduroz, Juan Carlos Manzano Pérez, and Carlos Javier Zorrilla Benítez—all for a single reason: the application for registration was not carried out in accordance with base 3.2.1 of the call.

Ten business days to file claims

Pursuant to the fourth base of the call, the list is made public on the electronic Notice Board of the electronic headquarters of the Provincial Council of Cáceres and in the provincial gazette itself. Excluded applicants have a period of ten business days, counting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province, to file claims.

This period complies with the provisions of Article 68 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. The institution also refers to the Council’s employment calls page (empleo.dip-caceres.es) for the monitoring of the process.

A process convened in 2024 and modified in April

The process was convened by agreement of the Governing Board of the Provincial Council of Cáceres in an ordinary session on December 11, 2024, published in BOP no. 0249 of December 27, 2024. The rules were subsequently modified by Presidential Resolution on April 10, 2026, published in BOP no. 0072 of April 16, 2026.

The call for applications closed upon the expiration of the application submission period, at which point the institution proceeds, according to the fourth rule, to the publication of this provisional list.

Impact for applicants

The resolution opens the correction and appeal phase of a process that will strengthen the provincial institution’s technical area with a Group A1 profile. The eight excluded applicants have this period as their only opportunity to correct their situation before the final list; the seventeen admitted applicants, on the other hand, await the announcement of the competitive examination tests.
