The resolution, issued on October 5, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres (BOP) No. 0193, dated October 8, 2026, with the official reference BOP-2026-4710. The awarded positions are General Registry, ICT, and Assistance to Local Entities.
The announcement is framed within Section I - Local Administration, Province, and responds to the specific merit-based competition that had been convened by Resolution of the president of the Provincial Council of Cáceres on July 31, 2026, published in BOP No. 147, dated August 4, 2026. The resolution now disseminated, signed in Cáceres on October 6, 2026, by the Chief of Staff, Álvaro Casas Avilés, closes the provision procedure and designates the three people selected to occupy the indicated positions.
The official text emphasizes that the act is final in administrative channels and details both the remuneration attached to each destination and the deadlines for cessation and taking office, as well as the available means of appeal.

The resolution appoints the following public employees to occupy the indicated positions:
- Rocío Avedillo Sevillano, head of office for General Registry (code No. 4867).
- Pilar García Correa, head of office for ICT (code No. 3076).

The three destinations correspond to the administrative structure of the Provincial Council of Cáceres and are filled through the specific merit-based competition system, reserved for career civil servants.

The appointed persons will receive the monthly economic remuneration set in the resolution itself:
- Subgroup C1.

Deadlines for cessation and taking office
The announcement precisely sets the timing for the handover in each position:
- The period to take office in the new destination will be three business days if it does not involve a change of residence.
- It will be ten business days if it entails a change of residence, a fact that must be justified.
- The period for taking office will begin to be counted from the day following the cessation.
- Cessation must take place within three business days following the publication of the competition resolution in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres.
Means of appeal
As it is a final act in administrative proceedings, the resolution opens the following possibilities for appeal:
- Contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of the city of Cáceres, within a period of two months from the receipt of the notification.
- Optionally, a request for reversal (recurso de reposición) before the Presidency, within a period of one month from the notification, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of October 1.
The text adds that this is understood without prejudice to the filing of any other appeal deemed appropriate.
The publication of these three appointments consolidates the coverage of sensitive areas of the provincial administration, such as the general registry, technological management, and support for the municipalities of the province. For the public employees of the Provincial Council of Cáceres, the resolution also sets a precedent regarding remuneration and deadlines applicable to future specific merit-based competitions, and marks the handover schedule in three services of direct assistance to citizens and local entities.
