The Provincial Council of Cáceres appoints two career civil servants for 2026.

The Official Gazette of the Province of Cáceres publishes this Thursday, August 13, 2026, in issue number 0154, two resolutions of the Presidency of the Provincial Council of Cáceres appointing the Coordinator for Safety and Health at Works as a career civil servant and a First-Class Bricklayer as a career civil servant. Both resolutions, dated August 4, 2026, consolidate the filling of positions included in the public employment offer for 2026.

The appointments arise from the competitive examination selection processes called to fill positions in the civil servant staffing plan of the provincial corporation for 2026, approved by the Plenary at its session held on November 18, 2025. The agreements are adopted by resolution of the president of the Provincial Council and are countersigned by the secretary, Álvaro Casas Avilés.

Appointment of the Coordinator for Safety and Health at Works

The resolution identified by reference BOP-2026-3823 appoints María Josefa Gil Jaliano (NIF ***099***) as a career civil servant for the post of Coordinator for Safety and Health at Works of the Special Administration Scale, Technical Subscale, Middle Class, group A2, with post code 5008. The interested party is permanently assigned to the position of Coordinator for Safety and Health at Works, code 5168.

Appointment of the First-Class Bricklayer

By resolution BOP-2026-3824, José María Durán Julián (NIF ***0807**) is appointed as a career civil servant for the post of First-Class Bricklayer of the Special Administration Scale, Special Subscale, Trade Personnel Class, group C2, with post code 04920. The appointee is permanently assigned to the position of Bricklayer, code 01609.

Taking office within one month

Pursuant to Article 62.1(c) of Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015, of October 30, approving the consolidated text of the Basic Statute of Public Employees, in order to acquire the status of career civil servant, they must perform the act of acceptance of the Constitution and, where applicable, of the corresponding Statute of Autonomy and the rest of the legal system, and take office within one month from the day following publication of the resolution in the gazette. The period for taking office shall begin to run from the day following the cessation, which must take place within three business days following the publication of the resolution of the competitive examination.

Appeals and means of challenge

Both acts are final in the administrative channel. Against them, the following may be brought:

  • Contentious-administrative appeal before the Contentious-Administrative Court of Cáceres within two months from receipt of the communication.
  • Optional appeal for reconsideration before the Presidency of the Provincial Council within one month, under the terms provided in articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

With these publications, the Provincial Council of Cáceres fills two of the positions in its 2026 public employment offer, both in the technical field of occupational risk prevention on construction sites and in trades personnel, and interested persons have one month to formalize their assumption of duties as career civil servants.
