The Provincial Council of Burgos rectifies the exclusion of a candidate for family educator

The Provincial Council of Burgos has rectified a material error in the provisional list of admitted and excluded applicants for the call to fill three permanent positions as family educators, such that the applicant Raquel Lebrero Martín must appear among the excluded for the reason of failing to indicate vehicle availability. The correction is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 188, dated October 2, 2026, section III (Local Administration), page 47, with the official reference BoPBUr-2026-04147, and grants the interested party a new period of ten business days to remedy the deficiency.

A correction under Law 39/2015

The origin of the rectification is resolution number 8779/2026, dated August 27, issued by the First Vice-Presidency, which approved the provisional list and was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 168, dated September 4, 2026. Having noticed the material error, the First Vice-Presidency has issued resolution number 9733/2026, dated September 23, 2026, which is based on article 109.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations.

The resolution is structured into three agreements:

• To rectify the list of excluded applicants so that Raquel Lebrero Martín (NIF *3039) is included, with the reason N.V., that is, failing to indicate vehicle availability.
• To grant the applicant ten business days, counted from the day following the publication, to remedy the cause of exclusion or submit any allegations deemed appropriate, in accordance with article 68.1 of Law 39/2015 and the rules of the call.
• To maintain the rest of the content of resolution number 8779/2026 in its entirety regarding the unaffected parts.

The framework of the call

The unified call was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos number 47, dated March 10, 2026, and includes positions for civil servants and permanent labor staff corresponding to the new entry shift. The three family educator positions come from the public employment offers of 2024 and 2025 of the provincial institution.

The provisional list released in September listed 63 admitted applicants and 70 excluded, with the following reasons for exclusion:

• F.P.: submission after the deadline (non-remediable).
• I.B.: blank application or no application.
• T.N.: does not meet or does not indicate the required qualification.
• C.N.: does not indicate a class B driver’s license.
• V.N.: does not indicate vehicle availability.

The selection process continues

The rectification does not alter the process schedule. The qualifying tribunal is chaired by Carmen Elena Elvira Posteguillo, with Nuria Santamaría Ordóñez as substitute, and includes members Idoya Ortega Urien, Rebeca Alba Santamaría, and Dara Martínez Besga, in addition to the secretary Fernando Rodríguez Revuelta. The selection body’s foreseeable sessions are estimated at 20.

The first exercise of the selection process will be held on October 22, 2026, at 5:00 p.m., in the assembly hall of the Real Monasterio de San Agustín, at calle Madrid number 24, 09002 Burgos. The resolution was signed in Burgos on September 24, 2026, by the deputy general secretary, Ana Isabel Rilova Palacios.

The correction restores the applicant’s opportunity to complete her application and leaves open the rectification process provided by law, a decisive step for those aspiring to one of the three positions. The rest of the excluded candidates maintain their original reasons, and those admitted retain the call for the first exercise scheduled for October 22.
