The Provincial Council of Burgos announces 200,000 euros for smart agricultural water

The Provincial Council of Burgos has announced grants totaling 200,000 euros for the implementation of intelligent water management and control systems for agricultural uses in rural areas during the 2026 fiscal year. Beneficiaries and Purpose
Local entities in the province of Burgos with a population of fewer than 20,000 inhabitants, including both municipalities and smaller local entities, may apply for the grants, provided they meet the requirements established in the guidelines. The purpose of the call is the implementation of intelligent water management and control systems for agricultural uses during the 2026 fiscal year.
Amount and Financing
The total credit allocated to the call amounts to 200,000 euros, charged to the corresponding budgetary application of the Provincial Council’s general budget for 2026. The economic conditions are as follows:
- Financing of up to 100 percent of the eligible cost of each action.
- Maximum limit of 2,500 euros per installation effectively executed, integrated, and put into operation.
Deadline and Processing
Applications must be submitted within one month starting from the day following the publication of the summary of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos. The full guidelines, annexes, and corresponding documentation will be available to interested parties on the electronic office of the Provincial Council of Burgos. The announcement appears signed in Burgos on September 1, 2026, by the secretary general, José Luis M.ª González de Miguel.
