The Provincial Council of Burgos opens 20,000 euro grants for the beekeeping sector

The Provincial Council of Burgos has approved the call for grants for the beekeeping sector of the province for the year 2026, with a total budget of 20,000.00 euros. The summary of the agreement, adopted on August 13, 2026, by the Governing Board, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos, number 159, dated August 24, 2026, with reference BoPBur-2026-03581.

Beneficiaries and requirements

Natural or legal persons who are owners of a beekeeping operation of more than 25 hives in any town in the province of Burgos may access these grants. Additionally, they must have their tax residence in a town within the province.

  • Carry out beekeeping activities in local entities of Burgos.

Purpose and amount

The purpose of the call is to regulate the granting of subsidies to beekeepers in the province who carry out their activity in local entities of Burgos. Actions carried out between January 1 and November 10, 2026, may be subsidized, provided they derive from the beekeeping operation.

The total budget amounts to 20,000.00 euros, charged to the budgetary application 45/4190/489.03/2.4 of the general budget of the Provincial Council of Burgos for the year 2026.

Deadline and submission

Applications must be submitted within a period of 1 month starting from the day following the publication of the summary of the call in the Official Gazette of the Province. The full guidelines, annexes, and corresponding documentation are available to interested parties at the electronic office of the Provincial Council of Burgos (https://sede.diputaciondeburgos.es).

The agreement was signed in Burgos on August 14, 2026, by the secretary general, José Luis M.ª González de Miguel.
