La Diputación de Badajoz excluye tres ayudas para vehículos adaptados

The Governing Board of the Provincial Council of Badajoz has declared three applications submitted for the third phase of 2025 for grants intended to finance the acquisition of new adapted vehicles for the transport of people with reduced mobility as excluded. The agreement was adopted unanimously in the ordinary session of September 30, 2026, and is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Badajoz (BOP) number 198, of October 15, 2026, under reference Announcement 4048/2026.

The call for applications regulating these grants, aimed at non-profit entities in the province, was published in BOP number 133, of July 15, 2025, and its call resolution was released on June 16, 2026 (BOP number 113, announcement 2317/2026). The procedure is processed through competitive bidding with an open call and is identified by file 2025/10/SYSTSUB-C, under the management of the Functional Area of Cultural Identity, Sport and Youth, Social Welfare and International Cooperation.

Six beneficiaries already resolved and three applications failing requirement deadlines

On June 9, 2026, the Governing Board approved the award resolution for this third phase, by which grants were awarded to a total of six applications that met the requirements and had available budget credit. In the same agreement, the applications that, while meeting the conditions, could not be beneficiaries due to insufficient credit were listed, according to the established order of priority.

In light of the instruction report from the Evaluation Commission, dated May 19, 2026, and the results report of May 25, 2026, it was noted that three of the applications submitted within the deadline of that phase did not meet the requirements of the guidelines. Therefore, they were not included in the award resolution, as required by the ninth guideline of the call and Article 24.4 of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17.

The three excluded applications and their reasons

The agreement details the affected entities, their files, and the cause for exclusion:

  • File 2026/1466 — CIF G44830354 — Club Deportivo Runexia: fails to meet the requirement established in guideline 3, section c), of the call.
  • File 2026/1582 — CIF G06010177 — Aprosuba 3 Plena Inclusión Badajoz: fails to comply with the provisions of guideline 1, which states that each applicant entity may only submit a single application for a single vehicle.
  • File 2026/2181 — CIF G23946247 — Fundación la Gran Compañía: fails to meet the requirement established in guideline 3, section c), of the call.

The proposal from the instructing body was endorsed on August 21, 2026, by the coordinator of the Social Policies Area and signed by the deputy-delegate of the area, and received a favorable report from the Informative Commission on Cultural Identity, Social Welfare, and International Cooperation, meeting on September 25, 2026.

Individual notification and guarantees for the entities

The agreement of the Governing Board establishes that it does not alter, modify, or affect the rights of the six beneficiary entities of the agreement of June 9, 2026, nor does it vary the priority order of the applications that, while meeting the requirements, remained without aid due to insufficient budget credit.

Furthermore, it orders the individual notification of the resolution to the three dismissed entities, indicating the applicable appeals, and the forwarding of the agreements to the Social Policy Programs and International Cooperation Service and the Area of Sustainable Economy, Strategic Procurement, and Heritage for processing. The certification of the agreement is signed by the chief official and acting general secretary, María Fernanda Rubio Cortés, with the approval of the president of the institution, Raquel del Puerto Carrasco, and is processed under session reference 2026/332/OT-OTGES.

The applied legal framework includes Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, the Provincial Council’s General Ordinance on Subsidies, and execution bases 17 and 35 of the 2026 provincial budgets, by virtue of the delegation granted by the Plenary in the session of June 30, 2025 (BOP number 127, of July 7).

Impact for the entities of the province

The resolution closes the third phase of 2025 of a program designed so that non-profit entities can acquire adapted vehicles and guarantee the mobility of people with disabilities or functional diversity in the province of Badajoz. The three excluded organizations are left out of the aid in this phase, although they may appeal the decision, while the six beneficiaries maintain their rights intact and the reserve list due to lack of credit remains unaltered.
