La Diputación de Badajoz concede 1,14 millones en ayudas a asociaciones sociales

The Provincial Council of Badajoz has resolved the first phase of the call for grants aimed at associations for the equipment and renovations necessary for the development of their social activities and programs. Framework of the call and procedure

The resolution is issued in accordance with base 7 of the call, published in the BOP on May 14, 2026 (Announcement 1671/2026), and based on the proposal issued by the Coordinator of Social Welfare and International Cooperation on September 25, 2026. The expenditure is charged to the budget application 11/2311/78004/0100.

Two exclusions and nine entities without the minimum score

The resolution details the excluded entities and those that did not reach the minimum score to access the distribution:

  • Asoc. para la Promoción de Personas Discapacitadas de Campanario (file 2026/2240, NIF G06757611): excluded due to withdrawal of the petition, in accordance with article 68 of Law 39/2015.
  • Fundación privada Integracall en Extremadura (file 2026/2419, NIF G06616494): excluded for non-compliance with base 5, as the purpose of the computer equipment does not align with the activities specified for line B.
  • Asociación ALMA Contra la Violencia de Género (file 2026/2241): 20 points.
  • Fundación ECCA social (file 2026/2254): 20 points.
  • Asociación de Mujeres de Lobón (file 2026/2273): 20 points.

Discarded lines and appeal process

Among the entities included in Annex I, two have lines declared as non-eligible for subsidies. The Asociación Protectora de Paralíticos Cerebrales de la Provincia de Badajoz (file 2026/2489) has line D rejected for non-compliance with base 3.f), which prevents those who have obtained a subsidy from the Provincial Council in the last five years for the same line from being beneficiaries. The Asoc. Regional Párkinson Extremadura (file 2026/2265) also loses line D due to base 5, which requires that the properties be owned by the entity or assigned by private entities or individuals.

The resolution concludes the administrative process. An optional appeal for reversal may be filed before the president of the Provincial Council within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the Contentious-Administrative Courts of Badajoz within two months. The Chief Clerk, Fernanda Rubio Cortés, recorded the resolution by substitution of the Secretary General.

Impact on the provincial associative fabric

The resolution orders the distribution of the first phase of grants that support the equipment and renovation of headquarters and centers of entities dedicated to disability, mental health, Alzheimer’s, addictions, and social exclusion in the province of Badajoz. The surplus of nearly 659,000 euros leaves room for new phases, while the nine entities without the minimum score and the two excluded entities are left out of this first distribution.
