La Diputación de Almería licita obras por 3,2 millones en cuatro municipios

The Provincial Council of Almería has provisionally approved four construction projects for a combined total of 3,189,000 euros, which will be executed in Benahadux, Fines, Vera, and the Moisés Ruiz Pavilion. The decision was adopted by the Governing Board of the provincial corporation in a session held on September 28, 2026, according to the announcement published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Almería (B.O.P.) number 194, of October 7, 2026, with reference 002672-26 and headed by the Department of Promotion, Infrastructure, Territorial Integration, and Water. The projects are now subject to a 20-working-day public information period starting from the day following the publication of the announcement.

The procedure is based on Article 93 of Royal Legislative Decree 781/1986, of April 18, which approves the Revised Text of the legal provisions in force regarding the Local Regime. In accordance with this precept, projects that define the object of the contract are submitted for public information prior to their final approval.

The announcement was signed in Almería on September 29, 2026, by the Delegate Deputy of the Department, Antonio Jesús Rodríguez Segura. The corporation previously used the same procedure in announcement 002351-26, published in the B.O.P. of August 31, 2026, for work 10PGM2026 regarding the repair of tree pits next to the Moisés Ruiz Pavilion, confirming the continuity of this processing route for provincial investments.

The Four Actions and Their Amounts

The provisionally approved projects, with their reference and budget, are as follows:

  • 19PPOS24-27BII — Rehabilitation and improvement of municipal buildings in Benahadux: 1,000,000.00 euros.
  • 6PAI-ALMANZORA30 — Regeneration of degraded spaces for conversion into Green and Leisure Zones in Fines: 250,000.00 euros.
  • 72PPOS24-27BI — Urbanization works for a sports complex in Vera: 1,704,000.00 euros.
  • 8PGM2026 — Installation of electric vehicle charging points and solar photovoltaic installation at the Moisés Ruiz Pavilion: 235,000.00 euros.

The highest-value action is that of Vera, with 1.7 million euros, followed by the rehabilitation of municipal buildings in Benahadux, which accounts for one million. The other two interventions, in Fines and at the provincial pavilion, total 485,000 euros and have a strong environmental and energy efficiency character.

Deadline, Allegations, and Effects

The public information period is twenty (20) business days and begins the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Almería. During this period, the documentation may be consulted and claims regarding the content of the projects may be submitted.

If no claims are submitted within the aforementioned period, the projects will be considered definitively approved, without the need for a new express pronouncement from the governing body. Each of the four projects also incorporates its own electronic verification code in the official announcement, allowing the authenticity of the associated documentation to be verified.

Impact for companies and municipalities

The publication opens the door to the bidding of four public works contracts in the province, with an aggregate volume close to 3.2 million euros. Interested construction companies thus have a defined calendar: the period for allegations conditions the definitive approval of the projects and, with it, the start of the award procedures.

For the beneficiary municipalities, the announcement confirms investments in equipment and public spaces, from the improvement of municipal buildings in Benahadux to the urbanization of a sports complex in Vera, as well as the recovery of degraded spaces in Fines. In this way, the Provincial Council reinforces its role as a promoter of works in the municipalities of the province, in an announcement that also contemplates the energy improvement of a provincially-owned sports facility.
