The Provincial Council of Albacete presents the repair of the Yeste road

The Provincial Council of Albacete has opened for public review the project for the repair of the road surface of the Los Collados road, in Yeste, for a period of 20 business days for the purpose of claims. A 4.2-kilometer stretch damaged by the DANA

The damages are attributed to the Isolated Depression at High Levels (DANA) that affected wide areas of the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands between October 28 and November 4, 2024.

It is, therefore, a provincial road that has suffered damage since that episode and whose rehabilitation is now proposed using European funds.

Candidate for ERDF funding from the EDIL DANA Plan

The Los Collados provincial road is listed in the open call for expressions of interest for the allocation of an ERDF financial path to local entities, intended for the financing of EDIL DANA sustainable urban development Plans. The application is part of the Integrated Action Plan called “Integrated action plan of the municipality of Letur and its surroundings: Functional area of Letur”, charged to specific objective 2.10 of the Spain Multi-regional Program ERDF 2021-2027.

Inclusion in this call conditions the financial fitting of the work, which the Provincial Council is now submitting to the claims process prior to its final approval.
