La Diputación convoca las visitas culturales y educativas con 75.000 euros

The Provincial Council of Toledo has published in the Official Gazette of the province of Toledo (number 176, dated September 15, 2026) the regulatory bases and the call for the twenty-ninth edition of the Cultural and Educational Visits Program for Local Entities of the province for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. The agreement, adopted by the Governing Board on September 11, 2026, allocates a maximum of 75,000 euros to finance cultural and educational trips within the province, and applications may be submitted until October 15, 2026.

The call, identified in the National Grants Database with the code BDNS 929041, is framed within Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, and aims to boost cultural activity in the municipalities of Toledo through outings organized by the local entities themselves. The program is financed through the budget allocation 2026/3340/462.00 (Current transfers to City Councils of the Cultural and Educational Promotion budget center).

Beneficiaries and purpose

Exclusively, the City Councils of the province—with the exception of Illescas, Seseña, Talavera de la Reina, and Toledo—and the EATIM (Entities of Territorial Scope Lower than the Municipality) may apply for the grant. The objective is to promote culture and education, facilitate knowledge of the provincial heritage and access to training and dissemination activities, as well as encourage coexistence, participation, and bonds of unity among the residents of the municipalities.

Deadlines and method of submission

  • Applications: from the day following the publication of the call in the gazette until October 15, 2026.
  • Execution of visits: between the date of application submission and June 30, 2027.
  • Justification: until August 31, 2027.

The application shall be formalized using Annex I, signed by the Mayor or President of the local entity and addressed to the Hon. President of the Provincial Council of Toledo. Pursuant to article 14.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure, all documentation must be submitted electronically with an electronic signature through the electronic office of the Council, via ORVE, or any other electronic registry provided for in article 16.4 of said law. Applications submitted after the deadline or by other means will be inadmissible for processing.

Information and resources

The full terms and conditions and the call for applications information are available at the Education, Culture and Archaeology Service of the Provincial Council and on the institutional website. This agreement exhausts the administrative route; therefore, a motion for reconsideration may be filed within one month, or a contentious-administrative appeal may be filed before the Contentious-Administrative Courts of Toledo within two months. The document, signed by the president María Concepción Cedillo Tardío, bears registration number I.-4141.

The call comes at a key moment for the town halls and schools of the province, which are planning their school and cultural outings for the 2026-2027 academic year. With a budget of 75,000 euros and a calendar extending until the summer of 2027, the program establishes itself as one of the Provincial Council’s main tools for bringing provincial heritage closer to the municipalities and strengthening territorial cohesion.
