The summary of the agreement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Burgos no. 190, dated October 6, 2026, with the reference BOPBUR-2026-04260 and the identifier BDNS 932363. The issuing body is the Provincial Council of Burgos, through its Culture Unit, and the agreement was adopted by its Governing Board.
The budget allocated to this call is biennial in nature and amounts to 400,000 euros, jointly provided by the Provincial Council of Burgos and the Department of Education of the Regional Government of Castile and León. The call for applications responds to the need to maintain schools in rural areas in adequate condition, where population dispersion and the aging of buildings hinder municipal investments. Through the co-financing of the Provincial Council of Burgos and the Department of Education of the Junta de Castilla y León, local entities with fewer than 20,000 inhabitants will be able to undertake repairs that directly affect families with school-aged children and contribute to stabilizing the population in the province.
