The Provincial Council grants 15,000 euros to four self-employed resin workers in the province

The Provincial Council of Guadalajara has made public the final resolution for the granting of subsidies aimed at self-employed workers in the resin sector for the year 2026, for a total amount of 15,000 euros distributed among four resin workers in the province. The agreement, adopted by Decree no. 2026-9299 of August 31, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 171, dated September 7, 2026.

The call, promoted by the Rural Development, Environment, Economic Promotion and European Programs, Gender and Diversity, and Tourism Service, aims to encourage entrepreneurial initiatives and favor the employment of resin workers in the province during the 2026 fiscal year. The resolution concludes the administrative process and is issued in compliance with the tenth base of the call and Article 45 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure.

A procedure without allegations

The Governing Board of the Provincial Council approved the call in an ordinary session held on April 28, 2026, and it was registered in the National Subsidies Database with the identification 903437, with its extract published in BOP number 86, dated May 8, 2026. Subsequently, on July 30, 2026, the Governing Board approved the provisional resolution in an extraordinary session, published in BOP number 153, dated August 12, 2026, with a period of 10 business days for the submission of allegations.

Once that period concluded without any allegations being filed, and in accordance with the tenth base of the call, the President of the Council, Mr. José Luis Vega Pérez, elevated the provisional resolution to final, signing the agreement in Guadalajara on September 1, 2026.

The four beneficiaries

The subsidies are granted to four self-employed workers in the resin sector, with the following amounts:

• Almudena Pérez Fernández, from Valdepeñas de la Sierra (file 3786/2026): €3,750.00
• José Vigil Redondo, from Alcolea del Pinar (file 3958/2026): €3,750.00
• Juan Rafael Vigil Redondo, from Alcolea del Pinar (file 3959/2026): €4,375.00
• Pedro Pablo Sanz Herranz, from Torete (file 4052/2026): €3,125.00

The total amount granted amounts to €15,000.00, distributed among the four files contained in the administrative record with the mandatory reports.

Appeals process

As this is a resolution that exhausts administrative remedies, interested parties may file a contentious-administrative appeal within two months from the day following its notification, before the Contentious-Administrative Section of the Court of First Instance of Guadalajara, in accordance with Law 29/1998, of July 13. Optionally, a motion for reconsideration may also be filed before the same body that issued the act within one month, in accordance with articles 123 and 124 of Law 39/2015.

The publication of this final resolution consolidates the provincial institution’s support for a strategic sector for population retention in the rural municipalities of Guadalajara, where resin activity constitutes a source of employment and maintenance of the local economic fabric. With these grants, the Provincial Council reinforces its commitment to entrepreneurship and the sustainability of a traditional activity linked to the province’s forests.
