The Provincial Council extends the deadline to October 31 for the justification of grants for resin workers
Por FactBox Admin

The Provincial Council of Ávila has extended the deadline until October 31, 2026, to justify the subsidies destined for self-employed workers in the resin sector in the province, according to the correction of errors published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Ávila number 178, dated September 15, 2026, with reference 1831/26. The measure, adopted by resolution of the President on September 9, 2026, modifies the Twelfth basis of the call and provides more leeway for resin workers to submit the documentation.
The previous deadline, set for September 15, 2026, was practically exhausted at the time of publication, so the correction prevents beneficiaries from losing the aid due to an inability to justify it on time. The new deadline remains non-extendable.
Origin of the call
The regulatory bases for these grants were approved by resolution of the President on June 16, 2026, and published in the BOP of Ávila number 129, dated July 8, 2026. The call, managed by the Rural Development and Environment area, is aimed at self-employed workers in the resin sector of the province, a group linked to the exploitation of the Ávila pine forests.
The correction is processed in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17, which regulate the publication of the summary of the approved modification.
How to submit the justification
The modified Twelfth basis establishes that the justification must be submitted directly through the Council’s website, following this path:
- Electronic Office
- Procedures Catalog
- Electronic Processing
The full text of the modified bases can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database and in the Electronic Office of the Provincial Council of Ávila.
Signature and scope
The resolution bears the signature of the President of the Council, Carlos García González, and is dated in Ávila on September 10, 2026. With this extension, the provincial institution responds to the practical difficulties of a group that carries out its activity in the mountains and which, in the middle of the resin collection campaign, needs more time to gather the supporting documentation.
The measure has a direct impact on the resin workers of the province, who now have more than an additional month to certify expenses and avoid losing the annual subsidy, in a sector that is strategic for the rural economy of the Ávila mountains.
