The Provincial Council increases grants for the Social Economy to 150,000 euros

The Provincial Council of Teruel has increased the maximum amount of the grant call intended to finance investment expenses for Social Economy entities in the province during the year 2026 from 75,000 to 150,000 euros. The measure is formalized in Decree 2026-3212, dated September 14, 2026, from the Presidency, an extract of which is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Teruel number 178, dated September 17, 2026, under reference 2026-2674. The publication occurs prior to the award resolution.

The agreement is adopted under the provisions of article 58.5 of the RLGS (General Grant Law Regulations), which allows for the incorporation of available credits as an additional amount to a previously approved call. The issuing body is the Presidency of the Provincial Council of Teruel, and the file was signed in Teruel on September 16, 2026, by the Secretary General, José Luis López García.

The expansion and the final amount

The decree declares the existence of available credits in budget application 2310-78001, titled “Grants for the financing of investment expenses for Social Economy Entities in the province of Teruel in the year 2026”, for an amount of 75,000.00 euros. This amount is incorporated as an additional sum to the current call, within the limits and conditions set by article 58 of the RLGS.

The final distribution of the call is established in the following terms:

• Initially estimated amount of the call: 75,000.00 euros.
• Declared additional amount: 75,000.00 euros.
• Final maximum amount of the call: 150,000.00 euros.

Publication and effects on deadlines

The decree orders the publication of the declaration of available credits and the final distribution in the same media as the original call: the Official Gazette of the Province of Teruel, the BDNS (National Grants Database), and the electronic office of the Provincial Council of Teruel.

The agreement itself specifies that this publication does not imply the opening of a new period for submitting applications nor the start of a new countdown for the resolution period, in accordance with article 58.5 of the RLGS. In other words, the procedure continues its ordinary processing and the expansion operates solely on the available economic allocation.

Target audience

The recipients are the Social Economy entities of the province of Teruel, a category that includes forms such as cooperatives and labor companies. The line specifically subsidizes investment expenses, not current expenses, and is managed through application 2310-78001 of the provincial budget.

The call for applications is processed by the Provincial Council of Teruel within the framework of its competencies for economic promotion and support for the associative and business fabric of the Teruel rural environment.

The extension up to 150,000 euros doubles the economic margin available for Social Economy entities in the province in a fiscal year in which the call started with an initial allocation of 75,000 euros. This increase may translate into a greater number of investment projects served or higher amounts per beneficiary, always within the limits and conditions set by article 58 of the RLGS and without altering the already closed deadlines of the procedure.
