La Diputación abre las bases para los stands de EXPOMIEL 2026

The Provincial Council of Córdoba, through its First Vice-Presidency and the Delegation of Infrastructure, Sustainability, and Agriculture, has published the guidelines for the allocation of stands for the beekeeping fair EXPOMIEL 2026. The announcement appears in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 174, dated September 9, 2026, pages 12903 to 12911, with reference BOP-A-2026-3057, and is signed by the 1st Vice-President, Andrés Lorite Lorite, in Córdoba on September 3, 2026.

The call is part of the beekeeping exhibition organized by the provincial institution at the Palacio de la Merced in Córdoba, which this year will be held between November 20 and 22. This procedure is added to the EXPOMIEL 2026 Honey Quality Contest, approved by Decree 2026/00008016 of August 24, through which the Provincial Council seeks to recognize the quality of Andalusian honeys and support beekeeping as a key activity for biodiversity and the environment.

Who can participate

The call distinguishes three groups with specific registration requirements:

  • Beekeepers and beekeeping cooperatives registered in the Beekeeping Registry of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water, and Sustainable Development of the Junta de Andalucía (REGA), as well as those registered in the Information System for the Direct Sale of Primary Products of Andalusia (SIVDA).
  • Packagers linked to honey production, registered in the Agri-Food Industry Registry of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries, and Sustainable Development (RIA).
  • Beekeeping machinery companies, as a complementary measure, to showcase innovations to attendees and participants of the technical sessions.

Submission and allocation

Applications must be submitted exclusively through the Electronic Registry of the Provincial Council, using the specific form from the Electronic Office and signed with a digital certificate. The deadline is 15 days from the day following the publication in the BOP, and incomplete applications may be corrected within 10 days.

The allocation of stands will be carried out in the order in which the application is received in the registry, with those who do not obtain space being placed on a reserve list. The location within the Patio Blanco will be decided by a public draw conducted by a Commission representing the Provincial Council of Córdoba, the University of Córdoba, and COAG Andalucía. Machinery companies will only have access to stands if any remain available after beekeepers and packagers, or to two equipped areas in the activities tent. The occupation of the stands will be free of charge for the successful applicants.

Occupation rules

Exhibitors must respect the assembly and disassembly schedule:

  • Stand assembly: afternoon of November 19.
  • Exhibition dates: November 20, 21, and 22.
  • Dismantling: afternoon of November 22.

The exhibition hours will be from 11:00 to 15:00 and from 17:00 to 21:00 on Friday and Saturday, and from 11:00 to 15:00 on Sunday. Only honey or hive-derived products may be displayed at the stands, with no substitutes allowed; the assignment of spaces to third parties, unfair advertising, and the use of the exhibition’s anagram without authorization are prohibited. Each stand will have three electrical outlets, one of which is for an oil radiator with a maximum of 600 watts.

The call for entries reinforces the role of EXPOMIEL as a showcase for the Andalusian beekeeping sector, providing producers, packers, and machinery manufacturers with a marketing platform and direct contact with the public. For the province’s beekeepers, the fair represents an opportunity to sell their honey and consolidate the image of a product linked to the territory and sustainability.
