Por FactBox Admin

The Provincial Council of Córdoba has opened the call for grants for sports entities in the province whose senior teams participate during the 2026-2027 season (or 2026 season) in the highest or second-highest national competition. The agreement was adopted by the Governing Board on July 28, 2026, and its summary is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba number 169, dated September 1, 2026, with the reference BOP-A-2026-2993.
The call, registered in the National Grants Database with the identifier BDNS 926516, is published in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Grants Law 38/2003, of November 17. The full text is available in the BDNS and on the Edicts Board of the Provincial Council’s Electronic Office.
Beneficiaries and purpose
Sports Clubs and Sports Sections registered in the Andalusian Registry of Sports Entities (RAED), with a registered office in the province of Córdoba, that are not Sports Public Limited Companies (SAD) and whose senior teams participate in the highest or second-highest national category of their modalities, certified by the competent sports federation, may be beneficiaries. The modalities must be recognized by the Higher Council for Sports.
The purpose is to provide funding to these clubs and sections, and the projects submitted must concern senior teams in national competition.
Amount of aid
The amount of each grant may not exceed 75% of the total cost of the activity nor 20% of the entity’s global budget for that season. The caps per category are as follows:
- Highest national competition: up to €90,000.
- Second-highest national competition: up to €40,000.
If the planned amount is not exhausted after distribution, the limits may be extended to €100,000 and €50,000, respectively, provided that the entity had requested that maximum amount. When a single entity presents two teams, it must submit an application for each, with these accumulated caps:
- €110,000 if both compete in the highest category.
- €100,000 if one competes in the highest and the other in the second-highest.
- €50,000 if both compete in the second-highest.
The payment will be prepayable once the final resolution is published, unless the activity has already been carried out.
Deadline and submission of applications
The submission period will be 10 business days starting from the day following the publication of the summary in the BOP. Applications shall be submitted exclusively through the Electronic Registry of the Provincial Council of Córdoba, addressed to the president of the institution, including the required general and specific documentation, such as the project, the certificate of registration in the RAED, and the federative certificates of participation in the corresponding category.
The call, signed on July 30, 2026, by the president of the Provincial Council, Salvador Fuentes Lopera, represents significant financial support for elite sports in the province, by sustaining Córdoba clubs competing in the most demanding national categories of their disciplines.
