La Diputación abre el cobro del IAE 2026 con bonificaciones por domiciliación

The Provincial Council of Guadalajara, through its Provincial Collection Service, has approved and made public the collection lists for the Tax on Economic Activities (IAE) corresponding to the 2026 fiscal year, according to the edict published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Guadalajara number 175, dated Monday, September 14, 2026. The voluntary payment period is set between September 22 and November 24, 2026, both inclusive, and numerous municipalities apply discounts for direct debit.

The measure affects all businesses in the province, as the lists correspond to the municipalities that have entrusted the Council with the powers of management, settlement, and collection of the tax. The edict, signed on September 11 by the delegated councilor for Economy and Finance, Susana Alcalde Adeva, establishes public exhibition for a period of fifteen business days, with the effect of collective notification in accordance with article 102.3 of the General Tax Law 58/2003, of December 17.

Territorial scope and excluded municipalities

The management of the tax corresponds to the Council in all municipalities of the province, with the exception of those that manage the tax themselves. The following municipalities are excluded from this exhibition:

  • Alcocer, Almonacid de Zorita, Arbancón, Azuqueca de Henares, Casa de Uceda, Cubillo de Uceda, Espinosa de Henares, Fontanar, Fuente novilla, Fuentelahiguera de Albatages, Galápagos, Guadalajara, Hontoba, Illana, Maja el Rayo, Pareja, Sacedón, Tamajón, Trillo, Uceda Valdeaveruelo, Viñuelas, Yebra and Yunquera de Henares.

The lists may be examined at the Provincial Collection Service and in the respective town halls. Those who disagree with the quotas may file an appeal for reversal before the president of the Council, prior to contentious-administrative proceedings, within one month from the end of the exhibition.

Direct debit discounts

In municipalities that have established a discount in their tax ordinances in favor of those who set up direct debits for debts with a financial institution, settlements collected through this method will have a quota discount. The applicable percentages are as follows:

  • 3%: Albalate de Zorita, Almog uera, Armuña de Tajuña, Atanzón, Brihuega, Cabanillas del Campo, Castilforte, Fuentelviejo, Horche, Masegoso de Tajuña, Moratilla de los Meleros, Pastrana, Renera, Robledillo de Mohernando, Sayatón, Valdeconcha, Valfermoso de Tajuña, Valverde de los Arroyos, Viana de Jadraque and Zorita de los Canes.
  • 4%: Fuencemillán and Montarrón.
  • 5%: Durón and Torija.

Payment methods and taxpayer assistance

Payment can be made through several channels, both during the voluntary period and in other modalities. Direct debit receipts will be charged to accounts on October 1, while payment letters for non-direct debit values will be sent preferably by email or postal mail. The enabled channels are:

Taxpayer assistance is provided by email (Inforecaudacion@dguadalajara.es) and at the offices in Guadalajara (C/ Atienza, 4), Molina de Aragón (Pza. España, 1), and Sigüenza (C/ Valencia, 9).

The publication of these lists marks the start of the 2026 fiscal calendar for thousands of freelancers and companies in the province, who must settle the IAE payment within the voluntary period to avoid surcharges. The direct debit bonus becomes a relevant incentive to advance collection and reduce the tax burden of businesses in the municipalities that have approved it.
