The Provincial Council announces study scholarships for the Isaac Albéniz Conservatory of Girona

The Isaac Albéniz Conservatory of Music of the Provincial Council of Girona has opened the call for study grants for the 2026-2027 academic year, addressed to the professional degree students of the center. The resolution, signed on September 14, 2026, by the president by delegation Jordi Camps Vicente, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (BOP) no. 180, of September 18, 2026, with the official reference BOP-2026_0_180_8066 (edict 8066, p. 1). The call provides for a maximum amount of 900 euros, with grants of 225 euros each.

The call is disseminated as an extract, in accordance with articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Law on Subsidies 38/2003, of November 17, and the full text can be consulted in the National Subsidy Database (BDNS), with the identifier 929311. The specific regulations governing it were approved by the Governing Council of the Conservatory in an ordinary session on December 16, 2025, and were published in the BOPG no. 138, of July 21, 2026.

Recipients and objective of the grants

• Beneficiaries: students of professional degree education at the Isaac Albéniz Conservatory of Music of the Provincial Council of Girona.
• Educational purpose: performance of various support tasks and derived duties under teaching supervision at the Conservatory.

• Number of grants: four, according to the global allocation and the unit amount fixed.
• The amount of each call is determined based on the established budgetary allocation.

Deadline and submission of applications

• Deadline: 10 business days starting from the day following the publication of the call in the BOP, that is, from September 19, 2026.
• If the last day of the deadline falls on a Saturday or holiday, the deadline ends on the following business day.
• Place of submission: Entry Registry of the Isaac Albéniz Conservatory of Music.
• Form: the standardized form available on the Conservatory’s website.
• Documentation: that which proves the proposal to be evaluated according to the criteria of article 6 of the regulations and article 3 of the call.
• For first-year professional degree students or subsequent enrollments: certificate from an authorized music school, a music school, or the Conservatory of the Provincial Council of Girona, to evaluate the academic record and previous experience in the same task.

The call therefore combines a dual objective: to alleviate the cost of professional degree studies for families with fewer resources and, at the same time, to involve students in support tasks at the center under teaching supervision. With a global allocation of 900 euros and a deadline of only 10 business days, interested parties must submit the application with the supporting documentation within the calendar established by the resolution.
