The Provincial Council summons the owners to expropriate land for the GIV-6701

The Official Bulletin of the Province of Girona (issue 155, of 13 August 2026) publishes the edict of the Provincial Council of Girona summoning the owners of the properties affected by the expropriation arising from the project for the connection of road GIV-6701, from Bordils to Corçà via Madremanya, with the C-66 at Corçà. The preliminary records prior to the occupation of the affected assets and rights will be held on 16 September 2026 at the premises of the Town Council of Corçà. The document, corresponding to file 2024/9602, bears the official reference BOP-2026_0_155_7307.

The Plenary of the Provincial Council of Girona, in an ordinary session on 21 July 2026, definitively approved the list of owners, assets and rights affected by the expropriation, in accordance with article 52.2 of the Law of 16 December 1954 on compulsory expropriation. This list was already made public in the Official Bulletin of the Province of Girona issue 148, of 4 August; in the Diari de Girona of 5 August; in El Punt Avui of 7 August, and on the notice board of the Town Council of Corçà. The edict, electronically signed on 11 August 2026 by the president of the Provincial Council, Miquel Noguer i Planas, now opens the phase of individual summons of the owners.

A step prior to occupation

These preliminary records are intended to draw up, before the owners, the documentation that precedes the occupation of the assets and rights described in the approved list. The meetings will take place on 16 September 2026 at the Meeting Point Building of the Town Council of Corçà, starting at 9:30 a.m., according to the schedules set out in the annex to the edict; if applicable, those attending will move to the affected land. The summons will be notified individually to the owners listed in the annex.

Documentation and representation

Owners of the affected properties must attend the proceeding in person or represented by a duly authorised person, and must present:

• the DNI;
• documents proving ownership: public deed, simple note or certificate of ownership and encumbrances from the corresponding Land Registry;
• if they wish, they may be accompanied, at their own expense, by a surveyor and/or notary.

The publication of the edict also produces the notification effects provided for in article 44 of Law 39/2015, of 1 October, on the common administrative procedure of public administrations: for owners or interested parties who are unknown, whose address is unknown or to whom notification could not be served, notification shall be deemed to have been made upon publication.

The affected properties

The annex to the edict details fourteen properties in the municipal district of Corçà, with the cadastral reference and the day and time of summons for each one. The following are listed as owners:

• Pablo Planas Muriscot and Maria Marques Masó;
• the heirs of Sebastià Sais Colomer, and Luis Sais Colomer;
• Maria Luisa Molinas de Ferrer, owner of various properties;
• Francesc Xavier Camps Puignau and Lluís Camps Puignau;
• Jorge Corominas Marull, José Maria Ribas Ribot and Jose Maria Noguer Gasull;
• Mercè Puig Ribas and Maria Carmen Romaguera Llonch;
• and the Corçà Town Council itself.

The summonses are scheduled between 9:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on 16 September, and all the properties are located in the municipality of Corçà, with cadastral references of the type 17062A009… and 17062A010….

Closing

The connection of the GIV-6701 with the C-66 in Corçà is a road improvement by the Girona Provincial Council that is to improve communication in the area between Bordils and the C-66 road. For the affected owners, the prior act is the procedure that opens the way to occupation and the subsequent payment of fair compensation: the summons of 16 September is therefore the first concrete step in a procedure that directly affects fourteen properties in the municipality.
