The Provincial Council archives the revocations of grants in Bossòst and Àger

The Governing Board of the Provincial Council of Lleida has declared the expiration of the partial grant revocation proceedings opened against the town councils of Bossòst and Àger, within the framework of the Extraordinary Local Investment Plan 2017-2018. The decision was adopted unanimously in the ordinary session of September 14, 2026, and was published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lleida (BOP) no. 180, of September 21, 2026, with the reference CVE BOP-2026_0_180_7753. With the expiration, the two councils are released from returning the amounts claimed by the corporation, which total 12,719.32 euros.

The two agreements are part of the Extraordinary Local Investment Plan 2017-2018 of the Provincial Council of Lleida, the line through which the institution co-financed municipal investments under the call 2017 681419 000. The Governing Board acted by delegation of powers from the Presidency of the Corporation, according to Decree no. 3011, of July 19, 2023. The publication of the agreements is carried out in accordance with Article 56 of Law 7/85, of April 2, regulating the bases of the local regime, and Article 145 of the Recast Text of the Municipal and Local Regime Law of Catalonia, approved by Legislative Decree 2/2003, of April 28.

The decision contrasts with the one the same body adopted in the previous session, published in BOP no. 177, of September 16, 2026 (CVE BOP-2026_0_177_7639), where the partial revocation of the grant to the Town Council of Bell-lloc d’Urgell for 10,733.10 euros was definitively approved, also within the same local investment plan.

Bossòst: 5,735.90 euros

The file for the Town Council of Bossòst corresponds to a grant intended for the rehabilitation of the locker room building and the stands of the municipal football field. The record published in the gazette details:

A fifteen-minute session and seven deputies

Both agreements are part of the extract of resolutions from ordinary session 29/2026, held on Monday, September 14, 2026, between 1:00 p.m. and 1:15 p.m. in the Commissions Room of the Palau de la Diputació. All points were approved unanimously by those in attendance.

With six of the seven members present, the Board met the legal quorum provided for in articles 32 and 35 of Law 7/85 and in article 90.2 of the Recast Text of the Municipal and Local Regime Law of Catalonia. The extract appears electronically signed by the general secretary on September 15, 2026.

The expiration of the files closes, for both municipalities, a reimbursement procedure that can no longer be resumed under the proposed terms, meaning that the municipal coffers of Bossòst and Àger will not have to face any repayment for these works. Publication in the official bulletin is what gives effectiveness and publicity to the agreements before interested third parties.
