The Court of Audit is recruiting four assistant auditors of Dutch expression

The Court of Audit is organizing a competition for the recruitment of four assistant auditors, financial audit, Dutch-speaking, level A (master’s degree holder), and the establishment of a reserve list valid for two years. The notice is published in the Belgian Official Gazette of September 24, 2026, under reference C − 2026/006685, on page 51409, in the official notices section. The registration deadline is set for October 8, 2026.

A competition organized by the institution itself

Unlike classic federal selections, this recruitment is not managed by the FPS Strategy and Support (BOSA): the Court of Audit is directly organizing its own comparative examination. The institution specifies that the competition regulations contain detailed information on the job description, the desired profile, admission conditions, the procedure, the tests, and the working conditions.

Two other federal selections open until October 8

On the same day, the FPS Strategy and Support published two comparative selections for which applications are open from September 24 to October 8, 2026 inclusive, via www.travaillerpour.be.

• ANE26010 (reference 2026/202431): Compliance Officers for the Telecommunications and Media Market department, level A, Dutch-speaking, for the Belgian Institute for Postal services and Telecommunications (BIPT). A list of successful candidates valid for one year will be established after the selection.
• ANG26285 (reference 2026/202423): BIM Modelers Bruges, level B, Dutch-speaking, for the Ministry of Defence. In addition to the list of successful candidates valid for one year, a specific list of successful candidates with a disability, valid for four years, is planned.

Recruitment reserves with differing durations

The three notices illustrate a common practice within the federal civil service: the creation of reserves beyond immediately vacant positions. The Court of Audit maintains a two-year reserve for its assistant auditors, while BOSA selections provide for a one-year list of successful candidates, supplemented in the case of ANG26285 by a specific list reserved for persons with disabilities, valid for four years.

These reserves allow administrations to draw from a previously assessed pool when a position becomes available, without relaunching a full procedure. However, they do not imply any guarantee of employment for the ranked candidates.

Scope for Candidates

For interested readers, the deadline is the same in all three files: October 8, 2026. Dutch-speaking candidates with a master’s degree and a financial audit profile therefore have less than three weeks to consult the Court of Audit regulations and submit their application, while technical and compliance profiles will find their own portals at BOSA. After this deadline, no registrations will be accepted, and the successful candidates in the established reserves will be mobilizable for the announced durations.
