La Carlota opens 50,000 euro grants for entrepreneurs and companies

The La Carlota City Council has published the call for grants for the municipal business development support program “Emprende por tu Pueblo 2026”, endowed with 50,000 euros and aimed at boosting the creation and modernization of companies in the municipality. The summary of the call, identified as BDNS 928349, appears in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba, number 177, dated September 14, 2026, pages 13081 to 13083.

The call is processed under a competitive bidding regime and is governed by Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Law on Subsidies, as well as by the Specific Ordinance published in BOP number 109, of June 10, 2015, and by the rules approved via Mayoral Resolution number 2976/2026. Purpose and beneficiaries

The objective is to finance newly created business projects or companies already established within the municipal boundaries that involve modernization, improvement of competitiveness, or innovative ideas in products, processes, or services that contribute to wealth and quality employment in La Carlota.

The following may participate:

• Natural persons of legal age and legal entities or entities with their own legal personality.
• Promoters with projects not yet started or productive activities started since January 1, 2026.
• Companies already established prior to January 1, 2026, that present a modernization action not yet started.

Amount and distribution of awards

The credit amounts to 50,000 euros, charged to the budget item 4300-47000 “Business Subsidies” of the 2026 Budget. The aid is distributed across eight awards:

• Three awards of 5,000 euros for entrepreneurs of newly established companies (created since January 1, 2026, or not yet started) with the highest scores.
• Three grants of 5,000 euros for already established entities that present modernization or innovation actions.
• Two awards of 10,000 euros for companies in the industrial sector that have started or will start their activity since January 1, 2026.

If there are no candidates for the 10,000 euro awards, that amount will be reverted to the applicants with the highest scores who did not receive aid due to the exhaustion of their specific line. The grants are compatible with other aid, provided that the City Council is notified.

Deadline and submission of applications

The application period is fifteen days, counting from the day following the publication of the summary in the BOP. Standardized application forms can be collected at the City Council’s Entry Registry or on the municipal website www.lacarlota.es, and must be submitted exclusively through the Electronic Registry, in accordance with Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure.

The call, signed on September 9, 2026, by Mayor Antonio Granados Miranda, represents a direct opportunity for local entrepreneurs and SMEs seeking financing to start or modernize their activity in the municipality, with special attention to the industrial fabric.
