The Jerez Chamber of Commerce announces grants for the World Travel Market trade fair

The Official Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Jerez de la Frontera has opened the call for the Global SME Program 2026 to promote the participation of SMEs and freelancers from the province of Cádiz in the World Travel Market fair in London. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz no. 197, dated October 13, 2026, with reference No. 329.531 and identifier BDNS 932451, and sets the application deadline for 2:00 PM on October 16, 2026.

The call is based on articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of the General Subsidies Law 38/2003, of November 17, which require the publication of the call summary in the National Subsidies Database (BDNS) and the corresponding official gazette. The program is 85% co-financed by the European Union’s European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), through the Spain Pluriregional Program ERDF 2021-2027 (POPE). Amount and Financing

The maximum amount of aid to be granted under this call is 8,026.34 euros, out of a maximum budget of 9,442.75 euros, co-financed at a rate of 85% from ERDF funds.

The total execution budget for the action amounts to 11,331.30 euros, which includes the estimated resources for the support services provided by the Jerez Chamber of Commerce, valued at 1,888.55 euros. These resources will be provided by:

• The European Union’s European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
• The Jerez Chamber of Commerce.
• The Planning, Coordination and Strategic Development Area of the Honorable Provincial Council of Cádiz.

Beneficiaries and Objective

SMEs and freelancers from the province of Cádiz who are registered in the Economic Activities Tax (IAE) Census may apply for the aid. The maximum number of beneficiary companies will be 5.

The objective is the granting of financial aid to promote the participation of SMEs in the action “Visit to the World Travel Market London 2026 Fair,” within the Global SME Program.

Deadline and Submission of Applications

The period for submitting applications opens at 9:00 AM on the business day following the publication of the announcement and ends at 2:00 PM on October 16, 2026. The Participation Application Form can be downloaded from the website www.camarajerez.com.

With only five spots available and a deadline expiring three days after the publication of the announcement, the call forces SMEs and freelancers in the tourism sector from Cádiz to decide quickly whether to attend a key trade fair for the province’s international marketing. The aid covers most of the cost of the visit, but the administrative room for maneuver is minimal.
