La Bañeza presents the improvement of the Courts-Health Center section to the public

The City Council of La Bañeza has initially approved the technical project for the work “Improvement and Adaptation of Section 1: Courts-Health Center, of the Vía de la Plata of La Bañeza”, with a base tender budget of 227,306.47 euros, VAT included. The approval was formalized via Mayoral Resolution of September 29, 2026, and the file is now subject to public consultation for twenty business days. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of León no. 193, of October 9, 2026, with reference BOP-LE-2026-193006.

The action is part of the General Local Economic Cooperation Fund of the Junta de Castilla y León, a regional administration program that co-finances municipal investments. The project corresponds to section 1 of the intervention planned for the Vía de la Plata as it passes through the municipality, between the courts and the health center, two reference facilities for the residents of the town and the region.

The procedure is based on Article 83 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, which requires opening a period of public participation before the final approval of certain files. The municipal resolution orders the exhibition of the technical project and its file so that any interested party may examine them and submit allegations or claims.

During this period, the project may be examined at the municipal offices and, where applicable, through the city council’s electronic office.

Interested parties may formulate any allegations or claims they deem appropriate. If no allegations are submitted after the deadline, the project will be considered definitively approved without the need to adopt a new agreement, as stated in the announcement itself.

Issuing body and signature

The announcement is signed by the mayor of La Bañeza, Javier Carrera De Blas, and is disseminated through the municipal electronic office. The publication in the provincial bulletin certifies the start of the deadline countdown and opens the way for citizen participation.
