La Audiencia de Soria publica los 300 jurados sorteados para 2027-2028

The Provincial Court of Soria has made public the provisional list of the 300 citizens who have been selected by lottery to be part of the Jury Court during the 2027-2028 biennium in the province. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria no. 115, corresponding to Monday, October 5, 2026, with the official reference BOPSO-115-05102026. Those selected reside in 71 Soria municipalities and may be called for jury duty over the next two years.

The lottery was held on September 18, 2026, at 10:00 AM, in the Courtroom of the Provincial Court, at calle Aguirre 3-5 in Soria. The act had been previously announced in the Official Gazette of the Province of Soria no. 104, dated September 7, 2026, by the Provincial Delegation of the Electoral Census Office of the Government Sub-delegation in Soria, whose delegate, Antonio Delgado Alaminos, signed the edict.

Both actions are supported by Article 13.2 of the Organic Law 5/1995, of May 22, of the Jury Court, and by Royal Decree 1398/1995, of August 4, which regulates the lottery of candidates. The now-disseminated list is provisional and occupies seven pages of the provincial gazette, from 3396 to 3402.

A distribution reaching 71 municipalities

The list includes 300 candidates distributed across 71 localities in the province, from the capital to small rural centers. The capital concentrates the highest number of selected individuals, with 131 people, followed by Almazán (18), Burgo de Osma-Ciudad de Osma (16), and Ólvega (12).

  • Soria: 131 candidates.
  • Almazán: 18.
  • Burgo de Osma-Ciudad de Osma: 16.
  • Ólvega: 12.
  • Golmayo: 10.
  • Ágreda and San Esteban de Gormaz: 9 each.
  • San Leonardo de Yagüe: 7.
  • Covaleda: 6.
  • Arcos de Jalón and Duruelo de la Sierra: 4 each.
  • Berlanga de Duero, Garray, and Vinuesa: 3 each.

The remaining municipalities appear with one or two representatives, including Abejar, Adradas, Alconaba, Alcubilla de Avellaneda, Las Aldehuelas, Almaluez, Almarza, Almenar de Soria, Arancón, Arenillas, Baraona, Bayubas de Abajo, Borobia, Buitrago, Cabrejas del Campo, Cabrejas del Pinar, Cañamaque, Casarejos, Castillejo de Robledo, Cidones, Ciria, Cubo de la Solana, Deza, Espeja de San Marcelino, Fuentearmegil, Fuentelmonge, Gómara, Hinojosa del Campo, Langa de Duero, Matalebreras, Matamala de Almazán, Medinaceli, Molinos de Duero, Montejo de Tiermes, Morón de Almazán, Nafría de Ucero, Navaleno, Nepas, Portillo de Soria, Quintana Redonda, Los Rábanos, Recuerda, Retortillo de Soria, El Royo, San Pedro Manrique, Santa María de Huerta, Serón de Nágima, Sotillo del Rincón, Talveila, Tardelcuende, Tejado, Ucero, Valdeavellano de Tera, Valdenebro, Viana de Duero, Villar del Río, and Villaseca de Arciel.

Names, surnames, and protected data

Each entry in the list identifies the candidate with their municipality code, the order number, their surnames and first name, and a partially hidden code. Thus, the first entry corresponds to María Luisa Delso Barrera, from Abejar, and the last to José Antonio Utrilla Martínez, from Vinuesa.

The final digits of each record appear masked with asterisks, so that only a part of each person’s identifier is made public. The document was signed in Soria on September 30, 2026, by the Court Clerk (Letrado de la Administración de Justicia), Juan Carlos Martínez Pomar.

The publication of the provisional list opens the process that could lead hundreds of residents of the province to be part of a popular jury during 2027 and 2028. Anyone included in the list should be aware that their name has entered the candidate census of the Jury Court (Tribunal del Jurado) and that they may be summoned by the Provincial Court of Soria (Audiencia Provincial de Soria) in the next two years.
