The Mayor's Office of Puente Genil appoints Raúl Pérez Tijeras as secretary for VOX

The Mayor’s Office of the Puente Genil City Council has dismissed Remedios Baena Janini and appointed Raúl Pérez Tijeras in her place as secretary of the VOX Municipal Group, a position of temporary staff based on political trust. The decision was adopted through Mayor’s Office Resolution No. 2026/5394, dated October 15, 2026, and published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Córdoba (BOP) No. 213, dated November 4, 2026, in the Local Administration section (reference BOP-A-2026-3628, pages 15869-15870).

The process: a request from the spokesperson and an HR report

The file begins with the request submitted by Antonia Gallardo Núñez, City Council member and spokesperson for the VOX Municipal Group, registered under number 056/RE/E/2026/7644, dated October 13, 2026. In that document, the spokesperson requests the dismissal of Remedios Baena Janini and the appointment of Raúl Pérez Tijeras as group secretary “for organizational reasons.”

The mayor’s resolution incorporates the favorable report from the Human Resources Department, dated October 15, 2026 (CSV E4FA 7B85 469A E099 A3E0), which is included in the file and verifies that the proposed person meets the required criteria. The decree is issued by virtue of the powers granted in articles 21.1.h) and 104.2 of Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of the Local Regime.

Dismissal without compensation effective October 16

The first point of the resolution dismisses Remedios Baena Janini from the temporary staff position of secretary of the VOX Municipal Group, at the proposal of the spokesperson and for reasons of organizational readjustment of the group.

• Effective date of dismissal: from 10/16/2026.
• Motivation: organizational readjustment of the municipal group, at the request of its spokesperson.
• Compensation: the dismissal does not generate a right to compensation; only the corresponding remuneration shall be settled.

Appointment, working hours, and remuneration

The second point appoints Raúl Pérez Tijeras as temporary staff of the Puente Genil City Council, effective from 10/19/2026, to hold the position of secretary of the VOX Municipal Group.

• Working hours: 39.678% of the established working day.
• Remuneration: those set by the Plenary Council in the session of July 7, 2023, updated with the legally applied increases.
• Incompatibility: he may not receive other remuneration from the Public Administration, its entities, bodies, or companies, nor engage in any other lucrative activity that impairs the fulfillment of his obligations.

Temporary status and causes for dismissal

The decree recalls that the status of temporary staff does not constitute merit for access to public employment, internal promotion, or hiring as labor personnel. Likewise, it establishes that the termination of Raúl Pérez Tijeras will occur due to the resignation of the interested party, for any of the causes provided for in the basic state regulations or, in any case, when the authority to whom he provides his function of trust or advisory ceases, without the right to compensation.

The resolution orders the notification of the agreement to the interested parties and to the spokesperson of the VOX Municipal Group, as well as to the Economic Services and the Personnel Office, to process the deregistration and registration with Social Security with the indicated effects, and to publish the termination and appointment in the BOP and on the Edicts Board of the municipal electronic headquarters.

Publication and signature

The announcement, signed in Puente Genil on October 23, 2026, by the mayor, Sergio Mª Velasco Albalá, is inserted in the BOP of Córdoba no. 213, corresponding to Wednesday, November 4, 2026, within section VI of Local Administration. The publication in the provincial bulletin completes the official dissemination of the personnel movement, which had already been communicated to the requesting municipal group.

The replacement affects a temporary staff position supported by public funds and assigned to the trust function of a municipal group, such that its cost and working hours are now fixed in writing in the official bulletin. The three-day difference between the termination of Baena Janini and the registration of Pérez Tijeras leaves the position without formal coverage during that interval, and the decree emphasizes that neither of the two decisions generates compensation.
