The Canary Islands Tax Agency publishes the final list of selected candidates

La Agencia Tributaria Canaria publica la relación final de seleccionados

The Canarian Tax Agency has published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands the final list of the selection process, in order of score, of the individuals selected for entry into the Tax Management Scale of the Management Body (Group A, Subgroup A2) of the Public Administration of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands. The Resolution of September 2, 2026, signed by the President of the agency, approves the final list and simultaneously offers the available job positions, as stated in BOC no. 184, of September 14, 2026 (Resolution 3242).

The process is part of the call approved by the Resolution of March 31, 2025, published in BOC no. 85, of April 30, 2025, for entry through the general system of open access and internal promotion. The General Secretariat made the final grades of the selection course public on August 19, 2026, and submitted the final list on August 27, based on specific rules 16 and 17 of the call.

The nine selected individuals

Annex I of the resolution lists, in order of total score, the nine people who have passed the selection process:

  • Julia María González Quintana, with 84.538 points.
  • María Inmaculada Morales Díaz, with 74.242 points.
  • María Cardona Cabrera, with 72.991 points.
  • Pablo Hernández Estévez, with 72.989 points.
  • Paula Rodríguez López, with 71.370 points.
  • Ana Trujillo Berriel, with 69.050 points.
  • Roberto Mejía Sánchez, with 67.119 points.
  • Marta Cabrera Valido, with 64.724 points.
  • Simón Castro Ruiz, with 63.943 points.

Job offer

Annex II lists the positions offered to the candidates, all assigned to the management center of the Canarian Tax Agency, with destination supplement levels 22 and 24. Among the destinations are:

  • Head of the Property Transfers and AJD Section in the Tax Administration of Ceded Taxes of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
  • Tax Sub-inspector in the Tax Inspection Department of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
  • Tax Manager in the Collection Administration of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
  • Technician in the Import and Excise Tax Administration of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
  • Head of the Planning Section in the Planning and Selection Department of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
  • Head of the Insolvency Situations Section in the Asset Investigation Department of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
  • Analyst Technician in the Planning and Selection Department of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
  • Insular Tax Delegate in the Insular Tax Delegation of La Gomera, in San Sebastián de La Gomera.

Deadline and procedures

Selected candidates have a period of twenty business days from the day following the publication in the BOC to submit, via the electronic registry of the Canary Islands Tax Agency, the responsible declaration certifying that they maintain the required requirements, as well as to state their preference among the offered positions. The award will be made according to the destination request, in accordance with the total score obtained and subject to Law 2/1987, of March 30, of the Canary Islands Public Service. Those who do not submit the documentation within the deadline shall forfeit their right, except in cases of force majeure.

The resolution, which concludes the administrative process, may be appealed through contentious-administrative channels or by means of an optional appeal for reversal within one month. The act is signed by the Director, Raquel Peligero Molina, in exercise of the delegation of powers approved by the Resolution of July 5, 2023.

With this publication, a selection process is closed that will allow for the incorporation of new career civil servants into the Canarian tax management, reinforcing the Agency’s staff at a time of renewal of regional public employment.
