L'Estartit puts a 200 m² commercial premises in Griells up for auction

The Decentralized Municipal Entity of L’Estartit, dependent on the Torroella de Montgrí City Council, has approved the call for a public auction of the property known as the Griells commercial premises, a premises of 200 m² built with an appraisal price of 148,975 euros. The decision was formalized through presidential decree 2026DECR000813, dated September 16, 2026, and has been published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona number 186, dated September 28, 2026, with the official reference CVE BOP-2026_0_186_8244 (edict 8244, pp. 1-2).

The procedure is opened under file number X2025001731 and includes the approval of the particular administrative conditions specifications that shall govern the bidding process. The announcement is signed by Genís Dalmau Burguès on September 16, 2026, representing the Provincial Council of Girona, the institution that publishes the provincial gazette.

A 1998 premises on consolidated urban land

The property subject to the auction is a commercial premises located on the ground floor of the building that forms a chamfer between Orquídia, Hortènsia, and Assutzena streets, in L’Estartit. According to the official description, its use is commercial and it was built in 1998.

The technical and registry data appearing in the announcement are as follows:

• Location: carrer Assutzena 28, ground floor of the Griells (L’Estartit - Torroella de Montgrí).
• Surface area: 200 m² built.
• Cadastral reference: 6247808EG1564N0001BS.
• Registry entry: property number 18225, vol 2880, book 351, folio 202, of the Property Registry of La Bisbal d’Empordà.
• Urban classification: consolidated urban land, with the classification of “parcels for blocks” (key PB9i) according to the General Municipal Urban Plan of Torroella de Montgrí.

Appraisal price and submission of bids

The starting price of the tender is 148,975 euros, the amount set as the appraisal of the property. Proposals must be submitted for a price higher than this appraisal amount, meaning the auction does not accept offers below the official valuation.

The particular administrative conditions specifications governing the auction will be published along with the annex of the bid submission model on the EMD website, www.emdlestartit.cat. Bidders will find the formal requirements and the standardized proposal model there.

Ten business days and means of appeal

The deadline for submitting proposals is 10 business days counting from the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona, that is, from September 28, 2026.

The presidential agreement ends the administrative route, meaning that against it, the following may be filed:

• Contentious-administrative appeal before the Court of First Instance of Girona (contentious-administrative section), within a period of two months starting from the day following its publication.
• Appeal for reversal before the same body that issued it, optionally, within a period of one month starting from the day following its publication.

The auction comes at a time of full activity in the real estate market in L’Estartit, a coastal center with strong tourist and commercial pressure. For local merchants and investors, the operation represents a rare opportunity to acquire a 200 m² ground-floor premises in a corner location, with a starting price already set and an open and regulated procedure. For the EMD, the sale will allow for the mobilization of a patrimonial asset and the obtaining of resources for the local treasury, provided that offers above the appraisal are submitted within the period of ten business days.
