The AMB initially approves the civic connection works in Cornellà de Llobregat

The Metropolitan Council of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB) has initially approved the civic connection works Project ARE Montesa Sant Ildefons, in Cornellà de Llobregat, with an execution budget of 3,998,892.39 euros. The agreement, adopted in the session of September 29, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona on October 8, 2026 (reference CVE 202610147879, p. 1-1) and opens a public information period of thirty business days.

The file, processed under number 901140/25, received a favorable report from the Information Commission dated September 17, 2026. The project was drafted by Aïda Artiz Crespo, architect of the AMB Services Directorate, and the agreement includes the transfer of the act to the Cornellà de Llobregat City Council for its knowledge.

A budget of nearly four million euros

The cost of the action is broken down as follows:

• Execution budget: 3,998,892.39 euros.
• Taxable base: 3,304,869.74 euros.
• VAT: 694,022.65 euros.

The initially approved project is an electronic document divided into four volumes, each with its own secure verification code (CSV) and its hash. The documents can be verified through the AMB official document verification service.

Thirty business days to submit allegations

The agreement submits the project to public information for a period of thirty business days via an announcement inserted in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona. During this period, the project will be available to interested parties on the notice board of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area, where the documents can be examined and any deemed appropriate allegations can be made.

Allegations may be filed at the General Registry of the Barcelona Metropolitan Area. For any doubts or inquiries, the AMB provides the contact address contractacio@amb.cat.

Automatic final approval if there are no allegations

The agreement establishes that, if no allegations or claims are filed during the public information period, the project will be definitively approved automatically, without the need for a new express agreement. The effects will begin on the business day following the end of the public information period.

In this case, the final approval will be published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Barcelona, in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and on the e.tauler, in compliance with article 38.2 of the ROAS. The act is signed by Mireia Grau Sadurní, secretary of the AMB, with a signature date of October 1, 2026.

The civic connection between the neighborhoods of Montesa and Sant Ildefons is an urban action of high impact for Cornellà de Llobregat, as it affects the mobility and urban layout of a densely populated sector. The public information period now opens the way for residents, entities, and interested groups to submit allegations before the project becomes final.
