Juntes electorals de Lleida, Tremp i Vielha publiquen els locals de campanya

The zonal electoral boards of Lleida, Tremp, and Vielha have published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Lleida the official premises and public sites reserved for free campaign events for the general elections of November 29, 2026. The three edicts, published in issue number 200 on October 20, detail the spaces enabled in 69 municipalities of the Lleida plain, around thirty in Pallars and Ribagorça, and nine in the Val d’Aran, including schedules, capacities, and the points where propaganda may be posted.

The texts are issued in application of articles 56.1 and 57.2 of the Organic Law 5/1985, of June 19, on the general electoral regime, which mandates the reservation of premises and public spaces for propaganda and electoral events, and are based on data provided by the city councils. The call stems from Royal Decree 806/2026, of October 5, which sets November 29 for the elections to the Congress of Deputies and the Senate. The edicts are signed by José Manuel García Grau (Lleida Board), Xavier Aiguadé Aiguadé (Tremp), and Andrea Valero García (Vielha).

The Lleida plain: 69 municipalities and five spaces in the capital

The edict of the Zonal Electoral Board of Lleida (CVE BOP-2026_0_200_8753, pp. 1-20) is the most extensive: it lists 69 municipalities with premises for events and the same 69 with points for placing posters. In the city of Lleida, five spaces are reserved:

  • Mangraners sports pavilion, Vila-rodona street, on the days and times required by the board.
  • Multipurpose room of the Palau de Vidre, President Tarradellas Avenue, 20, on November 15, 16, 17, 23, 24, 25, 26, and 27.
  • Mercat del Pla, Sant Martí street, 3, Cultural Asset of Local Interest, without the possibility of anchoring elements to the walls and with the obligation to restore the initial state.
  • Rufea Social Center, Partida de Rufea, 155, and the Sucs civic center, which must be requested in advance.

Specific calendars vary. Mollerussa reserves the session hall from November 14 to 27, the Cultural Center room on the 18th, 20th, 25th, 26th, and 27th, and the Amistat theater on the 18th and 25th; Puigvert de Lleida has the retirees’ home available from 8:00 PM to 12:00 AM from the 13th to the 27th, except on the 21st, 22nd, and 25th; and Almacelles requires 48 hours’ notice for the auditorium of the Cultural Center.

Tremp: declared capacities and one municipality without a venue

The Zonal Electoral Board of Tremp (CVE BOP-2026_0_200_8711, pp. 1-6) details capacities and time slots for around thirty municipalities in Pallars Sobirà, Pallars Jussà, and Alta Ribagorça. The spaces with the highest capacity are:

  • Nova Cofraria de Sant Sebastià, in Pont de Suert, 400 people, every day from 9 am to 12 midnight.
  • Espai Cultural La Lira, in Tremp, 348 people, subject to previous theater and cinema programming.
  • Cinema Ribagorçana, in Pont de Suert, 250 people, with prior notice to the town hall.
  • Casal de Cultura de Vilaller, 86 people, and Museu Hidroelèctric de Capdella, 84.

Tírvia is the only municipality that declares it has no available premises. Esterri d’Àneu limits the assembly hall to November 16, 18, 23, and 25, from 4:00 pm to 7:45 pm, and Baix Pallars sets a schedule from 9 am to 1 pm and 5 pm to 10 pm. For propaganda, Tremp provides 275 lampposts of public lighting and 12 billboards of urban furniture along the C-13 road.

Vielha: nine municipalities of the Val d’Aran

The edict of the Zonal Electoral Board of Vielha (CVE BOP-2026_0_200_8740, pages 1-4), written in Spanish and signed on October 16, covers nine districts: Arres, Bausen, Bossòst, Canejan, Es Bòrdes, Les, Naut Aran, Vilamós, and Vielha e Mijaran. The premises are social halls, town houses, and municipal facilities:

  • Naut Aran: ground floor of the Arties town hall and social halls in Bagergue, Garòs, Gessa, Tredòs, and Unha, plus the cultural hall of Salardú.
  • Vielha e Mijaran: Antara Youth Center and Association Center in Vielha, and social premises in Betren, Escunhau, Gausac, Casau, Aubert, Arros, and Vilac.
  • Bossòst: assembly hall of Casa dera Vila and social hall at plaça Dera Glèsia, 13, and multipurpose room at Sant Fabian street, 1.

Propaganda in Aran is concentrated on lampposts, billboards, and retaining walls, such as the lamps of the Eduard Aunòs and Duc de Dènia promenades in Bossòst or the walls of the tower on the access road to Es Bòrdes.

Lampposts, billboards, and propaganda limits

The edicts also specify where material can be hung. In the city of Lleida, the list by neighborhood includes the 239 lampposts of the Camí dels Frares industrial estate, the 100 of the Gran Passeig de Ronda, the 70 of Avinguda de Barcelona, and the 60 of Jaume II street. Some restrictions are explicit:

  • Abella de la Conca only allows adhesive tape, no glue.
  • Farrera and Gavet de la Conca prohibit fixing posters to facades and walls.
  • Pont de Suert does not authorize propaganda from one side to the other of the N-230 roadway.

The publication provides parties with the complete map of spaces where they can hold events and hang propaganda during the two weeks of the campaign, and allows residents to know which municipal facilities will be reserved in their municipality.
