Jimena presents the water and waste registries for the second quarter

The Mancomunidad de Municipios del Campo de Gibraltar has released for public exhibition the registers and collection lists for the second quarter of 2026 regarding the patrimonial benefits for water supply, sanitation, and waste collection in Jimena de la Frontera (Zone 3). The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz number 173, dated September 8, 2026, and the voluntary payment period extends until October 19.

The registers have been prepared by the Economic Services of ARCGISA, the instrumental company of the Mancomunidad, and affect all subscribers of the joint service in the municipality. The edict, signed by the president Susana R. Pérez Custodio, is published under official reference No. 279,448.

What is being exhibited

The announcement includes four non-tax public patrimonial benefits corresponding to the second quarter of 2026 in the municipality of Jimena de la Frontera (Zone 3):

• Low-pressure water supply and distribution service.
• Wastewater sanitation and purification service.
• Municipal waste collection service.
• Municipal waste deposit, treatment, disposal, and/or recovery service.

Where and when to consult

The registers will be open to the public for a period of fifteen days starting from the day following the publication of the announcement in the Official Gazette of the Province. They may be examined at:

• The Office of the joint Water Supply, Sanitation, and Waste Service of ARCGISA, at Autovía A7, exit 113, Guadacorte-Los Barrios, from 08:30 to 14:00 hours.
• The Headquarters of the Mancomunidad, at Parque de las Acacias s/n in Algeciras, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 14:00 hours.
• The Notice Board of the Mancomunidad’s electronic office (mancomunidadcampodegibraltar.sedelectronica.es).

Payment deadlines and appeals

The voluntary period to make payment of the receipts corresponding to the referenced quarter will be from August 17 to October 19, 2026, or in any case the two-month period established in Article 62.3 of the General Tax Law 58/2003, of December 17, calculated from the end of the public exhibition. The settlements are notified collectively, with notifications understood to have been made on the day the public exhibition of the registers ends.

An appeal for reversal (recurso de reposición), prior to contentious-administrative proceedings, may be filed against the settlements included in the registers before the president of the Mancomunidad within one month starting from the day following the end of the public exhibition of the corresponding register.

The publication of these registers represents a key step in the integrated management of water and waste in Campo de Gibraltar, by transparently establishing the amounts that the residents of Jimena de la Frontera must pay.
