Jerez reserva 294 farolas y 18 locales para la campaña del 29N

The Zonal Electoral Board of Jerez de la Frontera has made public the list of official premises and public places reserved free of charge for the holding of campaign events for the elections to the Congress of Deputies and the Senate on November 29. The edict, signed by secretary Olga Brea Higuero on October 14, 2026, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Cádiz number 203, dated October 21, 2026, with reference number 358.566. The list covers the municipalities of Jerez de la Frontera and San José del Valle.

The announcement is issued under Organic Law 5/1985, of June 19, on the General Electoral Regime, which requires city councils to send the Electoral Board the resolutions certifying the premises and spaces designated for free propaganda. The elections were called by Royal Decree 806/2026, of October 5, published in the Official State Gazette on October 6. The electoral campaign runs from November 13 to 27, a fifteen-day period that coincides with the availability period set in the edict’s tables.

294 poles for banners in Jerez

The City Council of Jerez de la Frontera makes 294 poles or lampposts available to the candidacies for the placement of banners, distributed across the city’s main avenues:

  • 50 poles on Avda. Presidente Adolfo Suárez, up to the roundabout confluence with Avda. María Auxiliadora.
  • 45 poles on Avda. Blas Infante.
  • 30 poles on Avda. Fernando Portillo.
  • 30 poles on the Avenida de Europa – Avda. La Granja – Avda. José Manuel Caballero Bonald axis.
  • 29 poles on the Ronda Circunvalación (Hospital section, Avda. Reina Sofía) and Avda. Escandinavia.
  • 25 poles on Avda. Puerta del Sur and another 25 on Avda. Rey Juan Carlos I.
  • 20 poles on Avda. Medina Sidonia and 20 on the Avda. Tío Pepe – Avda. Andalucía – Glorieta Tío Pepe – Avda. Voltaire – Paseo Sementales axis.
  • 10 poles on calle Alcalde Manuel Moreno Mendoza and 10 on Avda. María Auxiliadora.

The edict expressly excludes poles occupied throughout the year by signage for commercial and health establishments, including those of McDonald’s, Cocinas Schmidt, Supeco, Lidl, Obramat, Popeye, Clínica Asta Regia, Liberty English, Cocinas JUSA, Farmacia Puertas del Sur, Farmacia Jerez Sur, and Farmacia-Óptica Rodríguez Alario.

Fifteen premises and ten displays

In Jerez, seven closed venues are reserved, available from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM during the fifteen days of the campaign: the Palacio de Deportes, the Polideportivo Antonio Vega Veguita, the C.P. Guadalete in the E.L.A. El Torno, the Salón de Actos del Centro Cultural of Estella del Marqués, the Salón Cultural of La Barca de la Florida, the Salón Multiusos at calle Consultorio nº 3 in Torrecera, and the Pabellón Polideportivo of Guadalcacín.

Added to these are eight open venues, with hours from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM (twelve hours daily for fifteen days):

  • Plaza Artesanía and Plaza Blas Infante, both in the outdoor area, in La Barca de la Florida.
  • Patio Escolar at calle Toriles s/n, outdoor area, in the E.L.A. Torrecera.
  • Plaza Artesanía and Piscina Municipal, in the E.L.A. Guadalcacín.
  • Plaza Artesanía in the E.L.A. El Torno and in the E.L.A. San Isidro del Guadalete.
  • Plaza San Miguel, in the E.L.A. Estella del Marqués.

The Electoral Board also details ten mobile panels or displays, two at each of these points: Plaza Madre de Dios, Plaza del Caballo, Boulevard Avenida Voltaire, Plaza Mamelón, and Jardines de la Avenida Ntra. Sra. de la Paz.

San José del Valle: notice boards and three civic centers

In San José del Valle, posters may only be placed on mobile fences or notice boards provided by the City Council, which will be located at six points: Plaza de Andalucía (Templete), Cuesta de San Antonio (Civic Center), Barriada Alcornocalejos (sports court wall), calle San Rafael (Salesian School), Avenida de la Independencia (Corazón Solidario), and calle Custodio Andrade (fairground wall).

As official venues, the municipality offers three spaces available from Monday to Sunday between 6:00 PM and 12:00 AM: the Auditorio Municipal of the Plaza de Andalucía, the Centro Cívico de la Cuesta de San Antonio (street of the same name, nº 93), and the Centro Cívico de la Barriada Alcornocalejos. The only enabled public space is the Plaza Juan Durán, from Monday to Friday from 4:00 PM to 12:00 AM and Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

Allocation by prior request

Allocation is not automatic: proclaimed candidacies must request the use of venues and locations from the Zonal Electoral Board, which confirms the assignment and the hourly distribution. Any activity involving the occupation of public roads—information tables, banners, or electoral advertising—is subject to that authorization.

With 294 banner poles, fifteen event venues, and ten display boards in Jerez, plus the six notice boards and three civic centers of San José del Valle, the edict establishes the logistical map for a fifteen-day campaign. Parties and candidates thus have the official reference to request free spaces before November 13, and voters in Jerez and San José del Valle already know where the rallies will be held and where the electoral propaganda will appear.
