Játar convoca una bolsa de empleo de auxiliares de Ayuda a Domicilio

The Játar City Council has approved, by Mayoral resolution dated September 2, 2026, the regulatory bases for the establishment of a job bank for Home Care Assistants, intended to cover the temporary hiring needs of the municipal Home Care Service. The call, signed by the mayor-president Mr. Alexander Leo Van Oepen, is published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Granada number 178, dated September 15, 2026, with reference BOP-GRA-2026-178011.

Selection will be carried out through a merit-based competition system, without a fixed number of positions, and admitted persons will join a pool with a maximum validity of three years, extendable by reasoned resolution. The call is framed within the regulation of the Home Care Service of the Autonomous Community of Andalusia, in accordance with the Order of July 27, 2023, and Law 5/2023, of June 7, on the Public Service of Andalusia.

Requirements and required qualifications

To participate, it is necessary to meet the general requirements for access to public employment and to prove the specific professional qualification for the performance of the functions of a home care assistant. The following certifications, among others, are accepted:

  • Degree in Technician in Care for People in Situations of Dependency.
  • Degree in Sociosanitary Care Technician.
  • Degree in Nursing Auxiliary Care Technician.
  • Professional Certificate in Sociosanitary Care for Dependent People at Home (SSCS0108) or equivalent.
  • Professional Certificate as a Home Care Assistant.
  • Qualification of persons over 55 years of age as a caregiver, gerontological caregiver, or home care assistant granted by the Regional Government of Andalusia (Junta de Andalucía).

Those who do not yet have the full qualification may participate if they prove they are undergoing a process of accreditation of work experience or non-formal training, on a transitional basis.

Submission of applications and fee

Applications shall be addressed to the Mayor’s Office and submitted to the General Electronic Registry of the City Council or at the locations provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, within a period of twenty business days from the publication of the announcement in the gazette. The application must be accompanied by the ID (DNI), the qualification, the documentation proving merits, and the proof of payment of the examination fee, the general amount of which is 13.22 euros (Category 3, temporary positions), payable to the municipal account ES40 2100 0465 7713 0010 2343.

The fee includes discounts of 50% for members of general large families and those who have not contributed to social security in recent months; 75% for special large families, persons without prior contributions, and persons with a disability of 33% or higher; and a total exemption for victims of gender-based violence and terrorism.

Scale and operation of the pool

The assessment of merits reaches a maximum of 10 points, distributed between professional experience (up to 7 points) and complementary training (up to 3 points). In the event of a tie, priority will be given to the higher score in experience, membership in the underrepresented gender, and, as a last resort, a public draw. Calls will be made in strict order of score, with a one-month probationary period and specified grounds for definitive exclusion.

The pool will be used exclusively for situational service needs—substitutions, vacations, leaves, or increases in activity—with fixed-term or substitution contracts, full-time or part-time, respecting the limits on the chaining of temporary contracts provided for in Article 15 of the Workers’ Statute.

The call represents a relevant employment opportunity within the social services of the region, by guaranteeing the agile and orderly coverage of the care needs of the users of the Home Help Service of Játar, with full respect for the principles of equality, merit, and capacity.
