IVACE transfers the contracting of industrial plots to Industry

The Presidency of the Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) has approved a resolution, dated July 24, 2026, modifying certain sections of the specifications and technical prescriptions governing the commercialization, via tender, of industrial-use plots and warehouses located in business parks under its ownership. The announcement is published in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana (DOGV) number 10433, of August 20, 2026, in section V of Announcements, subsection B) of Tendering and awarding of contracts, with official reference DOGV-C-2026-25889.

The measure entails a change in the competent body for processing these tenders: the functions that until now corresponded to the General Directorate of IVACE shall now be exercised by the General Directorate of Industry. The resolution is adopted by virtue of the powers conferred by article 4.2, d) and e), of Decree 4/2013, of January 4, of the Consell, which approves the Regulations on the organization and functioning of IVACE.

Change of the contracting authority

The modification affects the sections and annexes of the specifications that attribute contracting powers, which now correspond to the General Directorate of Industry:

• Subsection 9.1. Contracting authority.
• Subsection 9.2. Contracting board.
• Annex III. Sale and purchase: section 2, point 3, and section 4.
• Annex IV. Surface rights: section 4; section 5, point 2, and section 8.

Scope of the measure

The modified specifications are those governing the tenders called by IVACE for the commercialization, via tender, of industrial-use plots and/or warehouses in the business parks under its ownership, approved by resolutions of the institute’s Presidency. The change affects both the sale and purchase modality and the surface rights modality, and transfers the processing of these procedures to the jurisdictional scope of the General Directorate of Industry.

Publication and entry into force

As a result of the modifications, the resolution will be published on the IVACE website (https://www.ivace.es) and the announcement of said modification is disseminated in the DOGV. The document is signed by the president of the institute, Marian Cano García, in València, on July 24, 2026.

The measure is of interest to companies aspiring to establish themselves in the business parks of the Generalitat, as from now on they must direct their inquiries and offers to the new contracting authority. The unification of the processing under the General Directorate of Industry seeks to streamline and centralize the management of Valencian industrial land, a key asset for attracting investment and business development in the Comunitat.
