The Castilla-La Mancha Foreign Promotion Institute (IPEX) has approved the call for grants for participation in the action Market Access Nordic Countries 2026, aimed at companies in the industrial goods sector operating in the region. The resolution, signed on September 2, 2026, by the director of the institute, Paloma Sánchez Garrido, is published in the Official Gazette of Castilla-La Mancha number 171, dated September 7, 2026, with reference 2026/6450 and an abstract in the National Grants Database (BDNS) with identifier 927400.
The action will take place from October 1 to December 11, 2026, and will allow a maximum of five companies to access the markets of Sweden, Norway, and Denmark. Applications may be submitted electronically with an electronic signature from the day following the publication of the call until September 25, 2026, through the electronic office of the Regional Government of Castilla-La Mancha.
Regulatory Framework and Financing
The call is based on Order 152/2022, of July 29, of the Ministry of Economy, Business and Employment, which establishes the regulatory bases for aid for grouped participation in IPEX internationalization actions. The aid is granted as de minimis in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2023/2831, therefore the cumulative three-year limit may not exceed 300,000 euros per company.
The credit allocated to the call amounts to 13,873.86 euros (item 47590) and 5,950 euros (item 47573), charged to the 2026 IPEX budget. 30% of the credit is reserved for applicants who carry out their activity in sparsely populated areas or areas at risk of depopulation.
Amount and Type of Aid
Two types of aid are granted per company:
- Aid in kind for consultancy and technical assistance, estimated at a maximum of 2,774.77 euros (70% of the eligible cost).
- Monetary aid for participation in the action, with a maximum of 1,190 euros for the travel of one person (70% of 1,700 euros).
In the event that the number of applications is exceeded, a competitive bidding process will be applied with evaluation criteria of up to 100 points, rewarding the existence of an export department, a multilingual website, previous experience, and location in priority areas.
The Nordic Market, a Strategic Destination
Spanish exports to the three markets reached 7,504 million euros in 2025, of which 200.96 million corresponded to Castilla-La Mancha. The main chapters exported by the region were steel and iron manufactures (27.42 million), mechanical machinery and appliances (27.18 million), and electrical equipment (23.85 million).
The action will offer participating companies tailored strategic information, identification of business partners, importers, and distributors, and the organization of personalized business meetings with logistical and technical support.
