IPETA Talavera announces three public employment selection processes

The Economic Promotion Institute of Talavera de la Reina (IPETA) has approved the bases and calls for three selection processes to fill vacant positions in its staff, corresponding to the 2024 Public Employment Offer. The three calls are published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Toledo, number 159, dated August 21, 2026, and are addressed to job seekers in the region.

The calls are processed via open competition and are part of the organization’s 2024 Public Employment Offer, approved by Presidency Resolution number 2024-270, dated September 23, 2024, and published in the BOP of Toledo number 188, dated October 13, 2024. The processes are governed by Royal Legislative Decree 5/2015 (Basic Statute of the Public Employee), Law 4/2011 on Public Employment of Castilla-La Mancha, and Royal Decree 896/1991, among other regulations.

The three announced positions

• Reception and Referral Agent, Group C1/III, one position, permanent contractual staff, by competitive examination (President’s Resolution No. 243, dated July 27, 2026).
• Subaltern, General Administration Scale, Subaltern Subscale, Group AP, one position, career civil servant, by examination (President’s Resolution No. 2026-238, dated July 21, 2026).
• Intermediate Employment Technician, Subgroup B/11, one position, permanent contractual staff, by competitive examination (President’s Resolution No. 245, dated July 27, 2026, and Resolution No. 256, dated August 12, 2026, for the rectification of errors).

Requirements and submission of applications

Applicants must have Spanish nationality or nationality of a European Union member state, meet the minimum age of sixteen and not exceed the compulsory retirement age, and prove the required qualification for each position: Higher Baccalaureate or equivalent for Reception Agent, Schooling Certificate or equivalent for Subaltern, and a University Degree or Diploma for Intermediate Employment Technician.

The deadline for submitting applications will be twenty business days starting from the day following the publication of the summary of the call in the Official State Gazette. Applications may be submitted:

• In person, at the Registry of the OAL IPETA (Santiago el Viejo Building, calle Templarios 41, Talavera de la Reina).
• Electronically, through the City Council’s electronic office (https://sede.talavera.org), using an electronic certificate.

Development of the process

Once the submission period has ended, a resolution containing the provisional list of admitted and excluded candidates will be issued within a maximum period of one month, which will be published on the City Council’s notice board and in the Official Gazette of the Province of Toledo. A period of ten business days will be opened to correct defects, after which the final lists will be published, including the date, time, and location of the tests and the composition of the Qualifying Tribunal.

All acts of the process will be made public on the IPETA website (www.ipetalavera.org), the City Council website (www.talavera.es), and the notice board of the Corporation’s electronic headquarters.
