Investigo: grants published for hiring young researchers
Por FactBox Admin

The Official Gazette of Galicia publishes today, in issue 209 and on page 54940, the list of grants awarded under the Investigo program, aimed at the hiring of young job seekers to carry out research and innovation initiatives. The publication is ordered by the Resolution of October 20, 2026, of the General Secretariat of Employment and Labor Relations, of the Department of Employment, Trade and Emigration, signed by its head, Susana Pérez Iglesias. The list of beneficiaries and amounts is available on the state Infosubvenciones website, under call 885622.
The resolution publicizes the grants awarded under the Order of December 29, 2025, which establishes the regulatory bases for the granting of public subsidies intended for the financing of the Investigo program and proceeds with its call for the 2026 financial year, processed under procedure code TR349V. The text supports the publication based on Article 15 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies of Galicia, and Article 17 of Law 1/2016, of January 18, on transparency and good governance, regulations that oblige the granting bodies to publish in the DOG the call, the program and the budget credit to which the grants are attributed, the purpose of the subsidy, the beneficiary, and the amount granted.
In the case of this call, the amounts were attributed to two budget applications of the Department of Employment, Trade and Emigration:
- 14.02.322C 470.0
- 14.02.322C.480.10
What the announcement contains
The text published in the DOG does not reproduce the nominal list of beneficiaries or the individual amounts within the body of the announcement. The resolution limits itself to ordering the publication of the granted subsidies and referring interested parties to the enabled link for consultation: https://www.infosubvenciones.es/bdnstrans/GE/es/convocatorias/885622/concesiones.
As indicated by the resolution itself, that list includes the call, the beneficiary, and the amount granted by the awarded subsidy. This is, therefore, an official publicity announcement and not a new call: the procedure has already been resolved and what is being made known is the result of the granting.
Purpose: hiring young people in research initiatives
The declared purpose of the aid line is the hiring of young job seekers so that they may develop their activity in research and innovation initiatives. The program is articulated through the Order of December 29, 2025, which sets the regulatory bases and the call for the 2026 financial year under code TR349V.
The announcement refers, for any other condition (requirements, duration of contracts, amounts per person hired, or obligations of the beneficiary entities), to the content of that order of bases, which is the reference regulation for the program.
Processing and signature
The resolution is signed in Santiago de Compostela on October 20, 2026, by the general secretary of Employment and Labor Relations, Susana Pérez Iglesias, acting by delegation of the regional minister. It is inserted in section III of the bulletin, dedicated to other provisions, and carries the official identifier code CVE-DOG: wjt1hlk7-a1q2-fto9-jt21-ftzsg2prj9s3.
The publication of the grants closes the administrative circuit of the 2026 call and opens the public consultation phase of the results, both for the entities that applied and for the people who were hired under these grants.
The information is relevant for companies and entities that carry out R&D activities, which can thus check the degree of execution of the program, and for recently graduated people, who have a way of entering the labor market linked to research and innovation projects. The publicity of the grants also allows for verification that the funds were applied to the purposes provided for in the call and reinforces public control over spending.
