Instituto de Previsión Social ordena nueva emisión del aporte reparatorio a exonerados

The Social Security Institute (Instituto de Previsión Social) has ordered the payment of the one hundred and twenty-second issuance of the Single Reparatory Contribution under Law No. 20,874, a direct economic benefit intended for politically exiled persons. The decision is contained in exempt resolution DN No. 366/2026, dated August 3, 2026, signed by the National Director, Juan José Cárcamo Hemmelmann, and published in the Official Gazette of the Republic of Chile on Wednesday, September 16, 2026.

A reparatory benefit for political exiles

The Single Reparatory Contribution was established by Law No. 20,874 as economic compensation of a reparatory nature for those who were politically exiled during the military regime. Its granting is carried out through periodic issuances, in which each beneficiary is identified and the amount corresponding to each case is indicated.

The new issuance, number 122, adds to a series of successive payments that the Social Security Institute has been implementing over time. The agency acts as the administrator of the benefit and is responsible for issuing the resolutions that order each delivery.
